Inasmuch we should not believe in charm or superstition, but as the adage goes: If ain't broken, why fix it? Maybe, just maybe, changing uniforms for the Kings shouldn't happen because as turned out after 2003 season is the beginning of the end. They never return to conference finals. Same goes to Houston. Why change uniforms for a team who won back-to-back, including an improbable run in 1995? With a new-look outfit and homecourt, they got dethroned by Seattle in a sweeping fashion and only once appeared in the conference finals (2018) since.
