Princess Diana was a true fashion icon and ahead of her time, she knew that what she wore could and would change what people all around the world would won't try to emulate. Can you imagine how much charity work she would have done and the funds she would have raised if she wasn't taken so young? She really was in the early stages of making her foundations grow all by herself. Princess Diana was incredibly astute, she used her name and her royal connection only for others to benefit. So beautiful, inside and out.

Kinsey, I'm surprised you didn't run into Harry's wife running around saying, "Mine, mine, mine", Diana told me so. 😏 Loved your UK segments!

My favorite dress of all of them is the purple velvet. If the shoes were only ever worn by Diana it would be kind of cool to see the soles and how they are worn.

I love Princess Diana’s fashion & I really hope that one day all of Diana’s personal items and dresses will be collected and put on display for the public in Kensington Palace & the ticket sale proceeds go to one of Diana’s favorite charities instead of floating around in different museums like bits of The Titanic-she was a Princess of Wales and The People’s Princess not a ship wreck!

My Mom and I were lucky enough to see Princess Diana dresses when they came to Seattle . They were gorgeous! I even seen the little hand print on her Gown . This was a long time ago and I forgot the year and name of the dress .

I have been to two of her wardrobe exhibits, and it is really cool , and next to the dress, they have a picture of her in it… BUT NO Cell phones or cameras allowed, of course. Shoe I did see her wedding dress too … I’m fortunately it was not beautiful at all. I was very disappointed in it. The train looked much longer on TV than what it was and they did show air have some of the flower girls dresses in the case with it . Those dresses were pretty cute with the story that came with the wedding dress . What surprise me the most is that Diana was a pretty petite lady !!

Beautiful.... I heard multiple times the gentleman say "Diana auctioned off in 1997 ---- So, now it up for re auction. Doesn't that mean someone else wore the gowns, dresses? If you wone a bid on these things.. you would not be "second owner" but possibly 3rd, 4th, etc. I was SHOCKED to hear this..... I just thought someone went into storage and brought out Diana gowns and cards..... thus, you would be tne next owner AFTER Princess Diana..... very interesting actually

I suppose you should know this is another lot of PD's memorabilia to be auctioned soon. This is reminiscent of the roman soldiers casting lots for Jesus's loincloth and even Ishtar being derobed before her wealth literally stripped off leaves her vulnerable and powerless. I think this year however the auction might actually bring her back into this realm because unlike when she was alive this keeps her memory alive and has the opposite effect. I think sometimes personal artifacts of a person should not be auctioned like a celebrity sacrifice but put in a museum of homage. That said if anyone wants to own a piece of PD to build a shrine or altar you can now bid for it. Some people actually use it to conduct seances or other magic occultic stuff to call on the spirit. Others believe it is lucky to own it as an asset that appreciates over time. If related then I guess it should be kept for sentimental value. Others believe the luck of the person will be bestowed on the owner.

I loved seeing the apparel. However, I do find it a bit ghoulish that people would sell cards and letters to them personally from the late Princess. I would have thought that those would be saved as family heirlooms. Not looked on as a cash grab 27 years later. But that's just me.

You know I just heard this guy say that Princess Diana had an auction of her things shortly before she died well number one royalty is never supposed to keep the things that they are given irregardless of whether or not she was always in the family she knew that those things should be donated so it's not a great big out of her heart for the kindness of her heart it's because she knew how to manipulate she was a manipulator right to the end okay right to the end and Megan is following in her footsteps Diana wrote A playbook and that's the book that Meghan uses to do the bidding that she is doing right now Princess Diana was no saint she did a lot of things that if she was still alive today people would question but because she died young it's not
