Thanks for the wide shot showing the cat. By the looks of previous video comments, everyone was wondering about him. Cats are usually off doing their own thing.
Laura and Aaron, wow! It’s 6am here in TX & I already have a new video to watch! You guys are new parents and are on top of putting out new content! Wow! Love y’all! 😍 that bush too! Lol 😍
I FINALLY got my hands on this plant and I am so exited. Laura, I gotta tell you, you have really influenced my plant choices and thoroughly inspired me. Thank you so much for sharing your garden journey with us. Xoxo V 🌼🌿
This vine is new to me! I WILL have this in my landscape!!! We had a eucalyptus tree when I lived in south MS, I miss it so much. It was huge and smelled amazing! Thanks for sharing Laura.
Good Morning! No work for the next three days, having my coffee and garden answer. We absolutely love when you do videos like this. There are plants that most gardeners would never think to add to the landscape. It looks beautiful and wish we could have seen it in bloom. Sometimes there are those awesome plants that you wait a whole season to see bloom just for awhile but it’s well worth it. To yourself Aaron and your Family have a Happy 4th of July from ours.💚💚💚💚💚💚
What a coincidence!. I've been talking about this plant to my mom, uncle and aunt for weeks now. (My whole family are plant freaks). My aunt already has one. My uncle had one but when he moved, he didn't take his with him and he wants another one. This was developed by a hybridizer / wholesale garden right here in Fort Collins, CO.
Originally propagated by William "Ped" Kintzley at the Iowa State University greenhouses in the 1880's and passed along to family members, this heirloom plant was recently rediscovered growing in Ft. Collins, CO. Easily grown in most any soil in a part to full sun location.
Gosh! this is such an amazing plant, so beautiful, and it does remind me of eucalyptus, I think I will put it on my list for next year!, Thank you Laura for this video it was super helpful and informative, I look forward to the next one. Hope you have a great day!
Good Morning, I’ve never seen this before! Do your parents ship out orders or have a website ? If not maybe they should start. 👌🏼That vine is beautiful. 🧚🏽♀️
I have this Vine in my front and back yard. The previous owners of my house planted it. Do you know if it is poisonous? Specifically the berries that come out in late summer/fall. I have a small child and can't find anything online about it.
J. M. The hollyhocks or whatever they are captured my interest, too! PLEASE, Laura, PLEASE talk to us about them! They've been a favorite of mine for over 50 years.
A honeysuckle I’d never seen! It’s so interesting. Shame it’s not for my zone 🙁. I wonder if it’s scented @ all? Maybe I can have it someday! Thanks for introducing us to this “hidden” gem. Have a lovely evening!
Love the plant & Love the Hollyhocks in the background. Do you have a problem with rust with the hollyhocks. If you could talk about them and let us know how they are in your area. thank you
I love it and I have to put it on my gardsn wish list. I dont have a place for it yet but must find one.!! Thank you for introducing us to new plants that aren't so mainstream. Happy 4th of July to you and your family.
I just happened across one of these at my local garden center, as they had wintered it over from last year. I’ve never rushed to the register faster! Now I’m just trying to figure out where to put it, but I have some good ideas.
Pat Pezzi actually I do since they euc's wont grow where I live. Plus, I prefer a vine/something creeping. Will look nice. No rules saying I cant get it LOL
This is the most beautiful plant i have ever SEEN! could you please show the back side ,do you know how old that one is? The leaves look so thick im gonna get me one
how to do you get rid of Aphids? My honeysuckle has had them since last year. I've been using Safer's sprey on them but they don't seem to go away. Do I need to cut the plant in specific spots? Thank you.
I’m somewhat familiar with your garden but couldn’t place where this is, especially with the unfamiliar flowers in the background. Do you think you might have time for a garden tour soon? Love your videos!!
Love this! Hope I can find it :). Can you tell me which side of the fence it was planted on? Looks like the fence is supporting it and would need some support?
Does this honeysuckle's flowers have a scent? I made a new pergola this Spring and bought a rather expensive Monrovia honeysuckle to vine up it. I was hoping it was going to be like the wild honeysuckle we have here in my zone 7 seaside New England area , but it has no scent. The flowers are gorgeous, but was disappointed in the lack of scent. I would have loved this variety, had I known of it at the time, as I do like that white frosty foliage.
Hi Laura! That's a very special vine. Just so unusual! However...what's drawing my eye are those gorgeous hollyhocks in the background! Could you maybe include them in a video soon? There are lots of us interested. Thank you! God bless you, your family and friends. Have a safe and wonderful Independence Day! 🇺🇸🦅🎆🎉✨🦅🇺🇸
Wanted to ask if you deal with any heat stress on plants or any issues with overwatering. I've had this happen in a newer garden bed and was looking for advice. Anyone else have this problem?
