Sure do miss this channel. Such nice folks and enjoyed watching the progress. Well, it’s not for everyone…a lot of work and RU-vid can be jerk central more often than not so ya can’t blame them! I pray God is blessing them abundantly and every day is another v opportunity to bring the old homestead back to life…in spite of the insane snotty restrictions that they put on folks. Really enjoyed the flashback!

Thanks, Keith! We’re still hanging around. I’ll put it this way, I had roughly nine months to get a bunch of work done on the inside of the house and filming and editing videos just wasn’t in the cards. Once I get caught back up on my sleep I’ll see if I can get some videos going again.

I recommend adding 2 pieces of 1/4" thick, 2" tall C channel under each foot. pretty easy. cut to length, drill holes, bolt on, C channel open side down. cut teeth into it if you want.

Good idea! I’ll have to give that a try!

I noticed your bucket level indicator is “off”… easy fix, pull the E-clip, remove and invert the indicator tube, replace E-clip… good job with the root ball removal… much easier with a tractor than a shovel and pick… much more fun too… hope you’re enjoying your Kioti as much as I enjoy mine

Thanks for the tip! The backhoe although was an expensive attachment, it's one of my most used!

When using the out riggers for the back hoe you must extend the outriggers all the way out and lift the back of tractor completely off the ground or at least have it so the tires are not touching the ground. That way you will get the full digging force out of the tractor, and as someone else mentioned weld or bolt some cleats on the bottom of the pads.

Surprisingly, per the manual, it actually says not to lift the wheels off the ground. Weird I know. I think they want them there more for tip over support rather than large outriggers like a actual backhoe where you do lift the tires up. Learning curve for me with always seeing machines with outriggers lifted off the ground. I do plan to add some cleats to the pads though. Future video!

@@Curtis1824 My "kubogy" MX5200 TLB ( very similar in size) " loves" to be "jacked up & planted". I lift the front-end up 98% with the loader bucket "knifed in" back curled in. The 68 ( yes sixty-eight) 15mm bolts hold & "unitise" the backhoe-loader to the tractor VERY WELL. The backhoe is Tremendously Strong with 925hours of Excelent service--thats WHY l went with the "kubogy system "; never met a stump it couldn't handle,= poor thing has almost been tortured! By "cleating" the stabilizers & "planting-knifeing in" the loader bucket the " jukeing,sliding,& skidding around are 99% eliminated. There is no such thing as the "best tractor" just one that is PAID for and has given impeccable service for the long-haul with 3000-plus hours. By having 4 tractors ( blessed) l can find the right one for the rite job. Good to see you got ALL the " kinks werked out" of your tractor rig. May l suggest; get another little helper like a CK3510SE open-station tractor T&L only.Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring ( boy you have lots of work to do).Best wishes with all your endeavours.

Need a ripper tooth to cut roots. I am working on mine. But it makes the job easier and faster. I'm bolting to bucket when I get done

Ripper tooth would definitely make it easier! That would be a fun build. Do you think the steel on the bucket is thick enough to handle the stress?

Ripper is nice , I purchased the tooth for the 3510 we have and it cuts right through the roots no problem

I know, got pretty close! Thankfully no damage! That's all I need now is another repair!

It would have been nice if you would have position the camera where we could see you operate the back hoe in the cab. I haven't seen any youtube videos demonstrating a back hoe operated on a sub tractor like yours with a factory cab.

Hi Derek, I can do that in a future video no problem!

Smooth operating.I have dig up many stumps and normally I just grab the stump with the hoe and curl it in and lift. works great for me. What size tractor is that?
@Curtis1824
@Curtis1824 Год назад
Thanks! It’s a 60hp tractor.

Like trying to pick up a large tarantula! I have wondered about getting a backhoe for my tractor but they are very expensive!

Stumps are hard to grab! I think this one had one last root I needed to break. They are an expensive attachment, but so far I’m very impressed with it. For what I’m using it for, it’s a lot cheaper than a standalone excavator!
