Kioti Ck3510 HST cutting trails with the box blade. Way faster then using a grapple or bucket.

I have discovered that my box blade can cut trails a lot quicker then my bucket or grapple. Y’all may have already known this but for those who are new to having a tractor, like me, this may save you some time. Hope y’all enjoy.

Just found your channel and loved your segment. Looking forward to learning more of your background and plans for the property. We have similar aspirations for the land we bought a year ago now. Really cool seeing how you used a box blade for this purpose; have been looking to buy one to maintain our gravel driveway, so this makes it a much more versatile tool. Thank you for showing us your techniques. Take care.

i am putting a 1/8''' steel skid plate for the poke sticks.(iron mike morgan had a special name for the poke sticks) im using POR15 metal coating on skid plate. project farm tested all the metal coatings. POR15 hands down is the best. $$ buy once cry once$$ great videos

There’s a school in South Carolina teaching you how to have a toothpick while you’re eating sunflower seeds. The college edition is a stick and sunflower seeds.

Brother, I was all good with the rain until my underwear get wet.....then we cranky for a long time. I have heard that pushing with the box blade can bend the arms....not sure how that really happens but always made me leery. I appreciate the video and it shows just what can be done. Thnx for the video.
@hisblendedcountry3131

Thanks for being that to my attention. Never thought about it bending the he arms. My rule of thumb is to remind myself that this tractor is not a bulldozer but they did design the box blade to be able to push with, so that’s why I test the limits of it. Thanks you so much for the reply. I love to learn more from others.

It’s because the 3PT is designed to operate in tension while pulling. Compressive forces push against the 3PT and can easily cause bending and damage. Pushing back loose material for leveling is okay, just avoid digging in and cutting while reversing.

My boxblade is stock on top and don't want to drop do you know what is the problem? Or what causes this problem?
@hisblendedcountry3131
@hisblendedcountry3131 Год назад
There is a little black knob below the seat close to the 4x4. It is what adjusts the speed of how fast you want the back to lower or rise. It normally gets accidentally turn when getting on and off the tractor.

I think it would be faster using the bucket for small brush like that? Mine does a good job with bigger stuff.

Awesome video and technique with the box blade for clearing brush. Works great as a ballast when putting a load in the front bucket/grapple. I don’t have one, but will be my next implement. In the market for a new compact tractor and narrowed down to Kioti and Kubota. This helps my decision and definitely going with a Kioti. Thank you for your service to this great nation!

@@douglasmohler7740 I agree, the box blade works perfect at a ballast. I normally keep it on the tractor all the time except when I need to use the pto. Thanks for watching buddy and thanks for the kind words. Really does mean a lot.
