You know what would be great? since you are the largest Kioti dealer in the country. Set up a online parts department that is easy to use and find parts. I’m a hour away from my dealer and I’d order all my filters from you if the price was right.
Hi Larry, Thanks very much for taking the time and effort to produce this video, apart from being very well presented and very interesting your explanations as to how and why things need to be done and helpful suggestions ( paint on dipsticks) adds to my knowledge and understanding, It also reduces the amount of angst when undertaking a DIY service and the concerns of am I doing this correctly, which by and large I have been, it just reduces the worry. I think the information provided in the Owner’s manual is of great assistance, in encouraging owners to do the services themselves. As you know full well moving a tractor off property creates it’s own set of costs & difficulties which I want to keep to a minimum. Apart from the initial 50 & 100 hour services, which I watched the mechanic conduct, on our now 10 year old CK35 I have undertaken all of the services myself, I am currently working my way through the 400 hour service at the moment. Please keep producing your videos I subscribed awhile back and have enjoyed watching each one, thanks again keep up the great work, looking forward to your next video, when you have the time. I Bought a New CK 3510 Shuttle 3/22/2022 and it will be delivered in a couple days . I have owned Two Mahrinda's and Decided to Go with Kioti The Seat and Ground clearance Pump Rate made my decision, I hope my Dealer is Reliable , Thanks For The Video and Info ? Bought a CK3510SE last month, managed to do the 50 hour service myself. Had to call my dealer and get a quick walkthrough on the bleed bolt/fuel filter but that's about as complicated as it got for my machine.
I bought a ck3510 from you guys, just recently.. so far so good (CS wise), I would like to just thank you for taking the time to make these... I got some smack talk buying a Kioti over a the other one lol... I hope with knowledge and time I can show people your product and service make just as good if not better.... thanks again.
Thanks for your videos. Even though I didn't get my Kioti tractor from your dealership due to my location, I do buy all my parts from your stores as a way of saying thank you for your videos.
@@LSE_TRACTOR got my 50 hour service supplies some time ago, my 400 hour service supplies for the future, a replacement fuel tank after busting the original (my fault), and the Kioti 3rd function kit. Your parts department team is always very helpful and professional.
Good video. I just did the 50-hour service on my DK5310SE. Pretty straightforward. The trickiest part was the hydraulic filter. More hydraulic fluid came out than I expected. There's a magnet on the tractor filter stem (to catch little bits of metal in the fluid), but the magnet can make it a little tricky getting the filter off quickly without having fluid come out.
Good video Mike. Your phone issues are a bit frustrating though. Many times I get "sorry your call can't be completed", or "the person you're trying to reach is unavailable", after one ring. Called 4x this past week and couldn't get through. Fortunately I had Thomas's cell and he helped out. I have a 20 year old DK 35, bought new from Charlie's Red Barn, with backhoe attachment (PTO driven) and I've beaten it to death. A little over 1000 hours and it keeps on keeping on. I've dug over 150 house and home addition footings with it and never found any soil/clay/rock it couldn't handle, and luckily with no mechanical issues. I once pulled a 7'x5'x12" stone out of a dig with it in Hendersonville. Couldn't believe it. The only real complaint is the seat quality, both on the tractor and backhoe. They quickly split and virtually shredded into pieces. I have yet to find a good replacement that doesn't cost a fortune. And the backhoe seat doesn't tilt forward which would greatly help when putting the backhoe on. Great machine overall though
Great video! Thanks for putting this together. You clearly care more about your customers than the nominal profits of pushing all service to your stores. I have a question about checking fluid levels. For example, do i screw the stick/cap back in to the front axle to check or just stick it back in the hole and check without screwing it down? Same questions for the hydraulic fluid in the back? Push the dip stick al of the way in or just touch the opening?
I would love getting a Kioti CX3510 Cab w/ front mount snow blower and rear plow, But the nearest dealer is over 200 miles from me. I have a John Deere and Kubota dealer with in 30 miles and both said they will not work on or service a Kioti. Need more Kioti dealers.
Very informative! Appreciate your efforts. I've a question, What is the draw-bar used for? The hole seems too big for a tow-ball and I've yet to see a useful purpose. Perhaps a future video?
Thanks for the video. I spent an hour looking through my manual to find out where to check and fill the hydraulic oil. Never did find it. I assumed it was where you should me but i wanted to make sure. Why the hell isn't it in the manual?
Mike, serious question. How do you recommend checking tire pressure in tires loaded with rim guard? Just be sure that the valve is at the top when checking? Should the pressure be the same with the rim guard in the tire? Great video. Thanks!!!
Help needed. I bought a 2022 dk5010. But I can't figure out where the clutch house water drain. I would like to check if there is any water. I use it for loading jet skis
So I did 50 hour maintenance myself on CS2520 and tractor seems noticeable slower in the low gear. Actually reverse gear seems just as fast and high gear seems fast but I never use it so can't properly judge. Low gear however is clearly slower. I can even tell by mowing times. Could quality/difference of hydraulic/trans oil affect that? I purchased all filters from local Kioti dealership.
Can you please explain how to adjust the pins on the belly mower for different cut heights? There is a method after lowering the deck to place a height pin in the hole as marked on the mower deck then another pin goes eighter top or bottom and then every time you lower the 3 point lever it deck will always stop at the same cut even if the 3 point lever is moved full forward. Lift arms still operate full range just the deck will stop at same place. Handy with roto tiller to engage soil yet keep the deck from plowing thru the tilled soil. JR

Great vid, thanks. I need to do the 50 hour on my nx45. The dealer service dept insinuated that it's better (important) for warranty to let them do it. I don't remember his exact words. What do you think about that?
If your dealer makes that claim based on “being better for warranty” he or she is not being accurate. If the dealer says that it’s better because they are more experienced and it eliminates you having to do it, that is something to consider. I own a CK3510SE Cab, and I do my own maintenance. Keep in mind that I own two Kioti dealerships, and yet I do my own. It’s that easy to do.
I have just bought a CS2520 and I have 6 hrs on it. Where do I get the steel brackets to keep the loader up? Is this a special steel or would hardware store channel steel do the job?
It has been suggested to me to drain (and replace) front axle and hydraulic/transmission oil when replacing the filters at the 50 hr service. I believe manual suggests that those fluids can be drained and replaced at 400 hrs however (motor oil and filter replaced at 50 hrs). Is this suggestion legitimate?
Do you have to drain all of the hydraulic fluid in order to change the two HST filters? If so, should it be replaced with new fluid or can the old fluid be place back in? 11 gallons is a lot to manage.
Excellent question DH. You will not change the UTF during the filter change. There will be fluid loss as you quickly swap each filter, but it’s not as bad as you might expect. Make certain all hydraulic systems are down, loader, 3 point, etc, so that the system is not under pressure. Expect a loss of about a pint per filter.
Dealer I purchased my kioti DK4720HSE quoted 1000 dollars for 50 hour service.which includes motor oil and filter,hydraulic filter, HST filter.I can do myself but really wanted to use dealership service. But this seems high just asking for second opinion.thanks
The DK10-SE is one of the higher priced 50 hour services, due to a particularly expensive HST filter, but..MY GOD MAN! A 50 hour kit (you do the work) is $180.00. A 50 hour kit and service (we do the work) is $300.00.
