A quick walkaround talking about the differences in the Kioti Tractor DKse, New NS, and NX models at Kenton Equipment Company. Northern KY Tristate Premier 5 Paw Dealer!
UPDATE: The NX was the oldest model in the Kioti lineup and has officially been discontinued for 2024. Now it will be easier to decide which 45-60hp Kioti fits your needs!
These are GREAT people to do business with!!! Even if you are not shopping for a tractor, check them out for your implements. I can’t say enough good things about these folks.
Excellent info, great job breaking the models down I had originally settled on dk but am convinced for what I'm doing the nx6010 will be perfect! Thanks for sharing, stay safe and God bless
Great video. Hopefully the NS and NX get cosmetic updates soon. They’re great tractors. They’re just not very good looking tractors. Now the new DK20 and CK20 series look awesome!!
Really nice video. I have a 2010 DK40se HST open station that I bought from you in May of '10. The "NS" looks just like mine. I only have 604hrs to date. Love my Kioti! Just wish I'd got the cab.
Great job on the video! This has been the most helpful video I've found while shopping for a Kioti tractor. Will the NX be replaced by a new model? Something to complete with the grand L.
I had a great conversation with the lead product manager at Kioti a few months ago. We were talking about the "dream changes" to ultimately fill out the product line. The RX should be made a little bigger, going from 80-90hp, and the NX should come in starting at 60-65hp, and ending at around 75hp. It could have the 4 cylinder the RX has (they share the same hood, so there should be room) and have the most advanced features with a newer electronic HST. Who knows what we'll see in the future!
i have a 2011 DK40 se. Mine came with all the things you said has to be added to this new model. Adjustible arms, draft control, cruise control, ect. When i bought my DK the cab was bigger than the smaller Ck. Also the front end and rear end looks bigger than on the newer models.
Yes, sir. The DK series today is basically a beefed up CK. The NS series is basically the new DKse of old. If you look at it you'll see a lot of similarities to your previous-gen DKse!
That NS##10 HST looks like my DK50SE (new-to-me, though mine has a cab...)!! The DK##10SE series tractors got smaller than the previous generation(DK##), while the NX##10 series is a bit larger than that previous generation DK##. It looks like they are bringing back the DK## series size and layout with the NS##10 series!! Which I think would be a great idea (they just need to add a cab version....)!! I would be really interested to see if the "linked pedal" option on the new NS##10 HST series would be available separately and if it would fit and work on my DK50SE HST????? (full product code is really DK50CHSE HST w/ KL401 Loader) The operator's station layout looks identical (minus the yellow PTO on/off control, though my control pod has the spot for it), same with most of the rear end. Actually the left pod that has the 4-wheel drive switch and hazard switch has one extra switch location that my DK50SE doesn't have. Do you have a NS##10 HST with the "linked pedal" option installed that you could do a quick video of the control location on the operators station? Just saw your previous "NS series walkaround" video (& watched it), looks like you noticed the similarities as well in that video!!
I have 2011 DK40SE HST open station and the NS rear looks pretty similar to it. It's been a great tractor and the simple mechanical controlled HST has no issues. I guess a linked throttle would be nice but I'm wearing ear plugs anyways and I suspect the new electronic control engines maintain revs more consistently under load. So it seems if you want a simpler open station HST tractor, the NS is the model to get.
I have a 2019 DK5510, bought new. Great tractor to operate. However, the tier 4 system is a nightmare. It has two different regens, passive and parked. It can not complete the 40-minute parked regen without a trip to the dealer. 600 hours now, and it hasn't done a parked regen on its own. Neither Kioti nor the dealer understands how the system works or how to fix it.
Kioti has regional techs that will go directly to the dealer to resolve problems the dealer can't solve. Has your dealer reached out to them I wonder? Where are you located?
Honestly, companies these days are making things too complicated. Just name your models 35, 55, 65….or whatever horsepower, and then you give an option for cab and transmission for each. Like why do you have a tractor on the same frame and then throw a cab on it and different transmission have completely different power ratings? It’s not like the horsepower is so different you couldn’t have either transmission option. Also, why do you give different options for different tractors on the same frame? Why can’t I just get the same options. That doesn’t even make sense. It’s just too complicated. Be like Volkswagen. You have the S, SE, and SEL in each model. You know exactly what you’re getting with each trim. The car, horsepower, and everything else is the same. The only thing that changes is the options…..
