It was definitely an old fashioned winter. A few storm and lots of continuous snow kept me busy. In this video we'll take a look at the equipment I use to keep my 1.1 miles of road open during the winter and then we'll take a look back at winter! My Kioti tractor never let me down.
Kitoti DK45 HST (2008) with front loader
Trygg Ice and Forestry chains
6' Kioti rear blade
45 year old snow blower

Hi from Oregon, My Kioti 2008 CK25 HST has 930 hrs what a work horse. I use it to bush hog, chip, tree and firewood work and general maintenance around our 5 acres. Just last week in the woods I ran over a downed branch that ripped the tranny filter off breaking the filter bracket. It was an easy fix. The only problem I have had was the fuel injector gears breaking some teeth off, was able to find a fix online that saved me 1200$$. Keep them videos coming Boss!👍🏻🚜✌🏻️

We had 118.3" of that white stuff. Not that bad. Happy she came & went. Just long is all. No Fall, which I luv. I'm a Spring baby so I'm ready. Got me a Ventrac 3400L 350 ft of driveway AND YES I HAVE A CAB. Spoiled Rotten. Been known to go from bed to cab in my PJ's, won't ever hear me complain about the driveway. Just pulled the cab on Friday for my cute lil bucket. Bring on the mulch and the dirt. Cuz I'm a Dirty kinda gal! LOL. I've missed you.

GREAT KIT, BUT I WOULD STILL HAVE A CAB ON THE TRACTOR, EVEN IF I HAD TO TAKE IT OFF FOR GOING IN THE WOODS, THE THOUGHT OF A NICE HEATED CAB WHEN THAT SNOW WAS BLOWING HARD AND COLD,> WOULD MAKE SNOW CLEARING A REAL PLEASURE AND MORE FUN WHEN COSY WARM, BRILLIANT VID, MICK FROM UK. I really enjoyed your video. I purchased a Kioti CK3510SE HC a couple years ago and love it. We moved from the city to a little three acre lot in the country that had a lot of tractor work to do, and I knew I would need to be able to deal with snow also, as I live in Western Missouri. I have serious lung issues, so my wife actually suggested that I get the cab model. I will say that I really appreciate it in the winter. We have about 300 feet of dead and dying hedge trees on our back lot line that I have been dealing with. We also have a fair amount of living trees on the rear of our lot, in front of, and near them, and I definitely appreciate your concern for damaging the cab. It is really important to always remain alert, and try to not move the tractor with the doors open. I only have the loader to deal with the snow. After watching your video, I may look for a used rear blade. So far my Kioti has been really reliable and has done everything that I have needed. I was also hesitant about buying a name I had not heard of, but after searching the internet for bad reviews on Kioti tractors, and not finding more than one or two, I decided to choose the Kioti over Kubota or Deere, which were the only other two brands I looked at seriously. The extra loader capacity was what sold it for me. I would have had to purchase, at least one series up in both Kubota and Deere to get similar or better loader capacity. Love that snowblower!!! Thanks for great videos.

great video you have spent some time editing and I know what that is like. You do have a great little tractor for what you need. In the early 50's my grandad wood give me the farmall M with a V plow and fill the tank with fuel and let me at er and I was only about ten or twelve. Like you I just enjoyed getting out there and plowing snow and there was no cab but had chains on the rear wheels and could go anywhere. It wasn't the best setup now that I look back for a plow but it got the job done. Thanks for you video I enjoy the back wood stuff.

I have the 2018 version of this tractor here in Maine. I dont have the snowblower but I do have an 8' wide snow pusher and it is hands down one of the best attachments I have for it. It is 10 times faster than using the bucket, because you don't have to pause to tilt like you do with the loader bucket. Just push it up to the top of the bank and lift up, the snow falls out the bottom on it's own.
@NB88
@NB88 4 года назад
Kioti makes a great tractor. I bet that 8' makes short work of clearing the yard. 👍
@5eyes1294
@5eyes1294 4 года назад
@@NB88 it really is an awesome tractor. I have a sawmill as well and I use the Kioti to get the logs on to the mill. It never questions my intentions. I have the Kioti backhoe on the back end for ballast and I can still lift enough log to tip the tractor forward. It does what it is told and does it well.

Does Kioti have a parent company - it's a unique name to me. Apparently those tires are original, they look to be in good shape. Looks like a great looking day up there on the day of filming. Enjoy your channel. Thanks👍. One more thing, do you treat the fuel to keep it from freezing in the winter. Thanks again, Charlie

Dam 2 Miles looking backwards you must get a Sore Neck! I have a 3pt Snowblower but only have to do like 200 ft! You have a skid steer quick teach Bucket I would throw a plow on that so you can look forward during smaller storms and leave the snow blower on the back all the time for weight! Do you have ballast in the rear tires?

I think it’s a bit optimistic to put the winter gear away yet. I know spring is coming but not quite yet. There’s a bit of snow yet to come. In the uk we are forecast snow for Easter 😩. I hope it’s better for u. Keep up the good work.

Great video . You have one of the best videos in how to install chains on your tractor . I remember when you got them . Question ... When you use your snowblower do you have a float mode on the rear end or does the blower just stay where you set it for height . As you can see I don't know much about tractors . LOL That cutting blade on the FEL bucket sure is nice . Enjoy watching your vids . Even when you are cooking .
