This game, man. The sheer amount of nods and easter eggs in it is astonishing, even by HAL’s standards. You can really see how much these people care about their fictional game series. I can’t get enough of outright acknowledgement of a long running series past, so this game was a gold mine for me. Really feels like the culmination of the whole Kirby series, given the final boss and returning characters.
@@firewarrior8298 Hopefully not. I'd be glad to see this as the end of Kirby. I'm a dedicated Kirby fan, and since the information and theories I've made this game would be canonically the last.
They did say Kirby is going into something new... although is this is the end of this amazing series, it would be a nice sendoff with all the Dream Friends, Easter eggs, and especially the cute Kirb outfit.
@@mawinstallation6626 FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE WHO AGREES THIS GAME IS A PERFECT END FOR THE SERIES and its not even a theory, the game literally almost makes it clear, voids name is ende niru, so end void, or so. if i recall correctly one of the tracks is also called "hallway leading to the ende" or something, or actually maybe i have terrible memory... and voids pause screen in the first fight is literally a recall of all kirby has done and literally calls void kirbys final foe or so, and if that wasnt enough, astral birth voids pause screen literally says its THE FINAL BATTLE And also the sheer fact that you literally make friends with darkness itself is a huge morality message
@@mawinstallation6626 are you serious? ok look this game is nice and all but this is a BAD end for the series, the story wasn’t that interesting, the gameplay was the same except thing as the other three games, the game is short, and honestly so many people call this one of the worst Kirby games, so you really think this is a good end? Cause In my opinion this would be a horrible ending.
The jambastion? And uh no cuz they went to the jambastion to investigate, after zan broke the core to trap them there, they escaped, but to get to the jambandra base you need to free all the planets of danger so the bridges break through the base's shield, so kirby would still need to 1. Get rid of jambastion as its on their very own planet 2. Activate all the planet bridges 3. Stop squidward 4. And kill satan So the dragoon wouldnt have helped much tbh
The last one is not Nova "Itself". It is one of the things that is attached to Nova.(And it also makes appearance in PR Star Dream&Star Dream Soul OS 3rd phase)
For the people that are wondering what Halfmoon is, it’s a planet that you need to complete in Milky Way Wishes in Kirby Super Star/Ultra to progress in that mode. How I know this because my first Kirby game was Kirby Superstar Ultra! I loved it so much! 😂
It would’ve been nice to see the Robobot Armor just flying around in space, cuz remeber: after Kirby defeated Nova (again), the Robobot Armor pushed Kirby to his home planet, somehow, while it was as crying, as they move apart, the armor now flying into space, it would’ve been nice to see it after Susie made an official appearance in the game
You know I'd say this just shows how much love Hal has for Kirby and its past games, but honestly It hink they just have a great respect for the medium and other series. In the Smash Ultimate the spirits and their battles reflect well the games and lore with them.
Incredibly late response, but super smash bros is canon to two Nintendo franchises: Super Smash Brothers and Kid Icarus (specifically Uprising). The latter has a set of lines referring back and forth across the games. Just a neat exception to the rule of smash being noncanon
Well it could be piloting itself. It's not the first time that's happened, though. It also seemed to pilot itself during the ending of Kirby's Return to Dreamland. Even though Magolor was defeated, it flew over to open a portal for Kirby and his friends to get back home.
It could be alive, after all, the ancients in the lore were also able to build sentient Novas. It just maybe needs a good purpose to do so, hence why it didn't interfere with Magolor stealing it. It didn't deem it a situation for it to handle. It's possible.

Wow that camera angle on Nova's Pocket Watch made it look huge so I always thought it was below the map and I have spent literal hours on a wild goose chase looking for a giant watch when it was there the whole time!? By the way how'd you get Half-Moon, Ripple Star and Lor Starcutter all at once?
I think they wanted the main focus of a kirby to be on kirby himself, so having a grey clone of him wouldnt help that much and wouldnt make kirby look as important as he does in hiad and story mode as the first player Besides, dmk is genuinely really cool and fun to play as, and to give other obscure characters a chance is neat, it was also a neat way of screaming at the fandom to stop blaming him for sectonias corruption

If anyone wants to know how to get the Easter eggs you just have to enter a stage and exit it and look back into those places. There is a chance that it would appear because it is an Easter egg hope this helps! correct me if I’m wrong, I think the lor star cutter does not appear anymore

This makes me wish we had these things in the game as full fledged things StarUltra Nova battle, similar to the fight with Void Termina Dragoon Friend power Shadow Kirby Dream Friend (is NOT a kirby clone) Ripple Star Level Dynablade Battle/Asist
He’s probably too guilty to even show his face to Kirby considering that he never took it upon himself at all to stop Dark Mind and instead made Kirby do the dirty work.
@@RedLinkaFlame he- he's the guardian of the mirror world, presumably Dark Mind and Dark Meta Knight together were too strong for him, hence why he shows up occasionally in the game usually to be beaten up for health restoration
For what he would do, it would be really cool is shadow Kirby had the smash ability combined with some amazing mirror stuff. He would be way more fitting as a “dream friend” than dark meta knight is lol
