Thanx Linda at Kirby for helping me on a whim. I couldn't figure out how to engage the belt. Linda walked me through, no questions asked. I watched the video and missed the part of connecting the belt properly. Linda walked me through and then I rewatched the video and found the belt connection portion. Thanx again Kirby, my carpet is now clean. I will eventually pick up all the parts that come with this model on this video. Linda saved my wallet and saved my Kirby and thank you for supplying the videos for my machine, they are very helpful. I do not have a manual, so the videos and the phone number provided helped me. Take care Kirby ❤
The numbers at the ends of the brush roll indicate how far the bristles extend out of the bottom of the nozzle. The brush roll starts at number 1, and as the bristles wear down, you can then extend them more by changing the brush roll ends to the number 2 position. When they wear down again, you can change it to the number 3 position. After that, you should replace your brush roll with a new one and start over.
is airflow difference between the g6 to the avalir other than the emptor models today? I got 4 kirbys and I think the g5 is not as powerful as the newer ones I just want to know because it's hard to tell?
is there a different power consumption betwen the Kirby models?I wanna buy a G6 model and i wanna know the power consumption.I use actually the G series Ultimate and i,m very grateful wtith this model and it's ,, suck''only 635Watts....is just amazing.Thx a lot, greetings from Spain!
so you take the rug plate off the bottom of the nozzle, then the number that you see facing tward you is the setting its on. for example if you need to adjust the brush, and you see the number 1 facing you pull the brush out and turn the ends to 2 and hold the ends so the 2 is facing you on both ends and slide it into the nozzle. this will extend the bristles and make it clean better! hope this helps :)
