What a beautiful movie. You can see both Kirk Douglas and Kim Novak really had great chemistry together. And yes, Kim Novak is breathtaking!

Saw this originally on AMC years ago. Loved it instantly. Was only available on VHS at the time and was pretty expensive. Finally came out on DVD and I snatched it up.

First of all let me thank You for showing this unique movie. Right from the start, from the music that introduces it, I'm trappoed sweetly into the story. And I remain glued till the end. Scenery, cast, dialogues, the homes, California back in the end of the 50s, they never cease to fascinate me. Would it surprise you that I' ve been watching it once a month ever since I bought it twenty years ago? Best viewing, too!! 🌹

Seen this oldie but goodie a number of times thru the years and its one of my faves.

Yes what a chemistry. What a man ,what a woman. I've seen the film 4 or 5 times. Pleasure, real pleasure, Walter Matthau like always great actor, Thank You.

I love this film. Kim is breathtaking in it. But the ending -which I won't spoil - UGH. Should have ended differently.
