You can literally tell the power level of each character based on how calm they are. The other guys are all panicking about a megaladon eating them alive, while Mr. Red Aura himself just starts joking about a part of a karaoke song. The balls on this guy…

I don't get the joke, but i love how the translators fully embraced the meme, that almost feels abridged. Also, 1:28. Really Kiryu? What's gotten into you? You're about to die so you see it as an opportunity to be a dork when you were always stoic?

It is basically about the memeable part of Bakamitai "Dame Dane". Every time you ask who Kiryu is to outsiders, they will likely call him the "Dame Dane Guy". Seems like a stretch, but you would know, the more you squint at it.

@@felipecosta-kv2fx “Same” is the Japanese word for Shark, the pronunciation is almost the same with the word “Dame” on Japanese, that’s why Kiryu makes the joke. “Dame da ne” (It’s no good) “Same da ne” (It’s a Shark) it’s just a silly play of words.
