Kishane got a fan in me from the U.S. I love jamaica and always has and the food in jamaica is top tier. Two of my best friends are jamaican. I feel like kishane has the talent and speed to come close or break Usain bolts world record in the 100m 💯💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Best coach in the whole world Stephen Francis. Tek an unknown and put them as the world power. Asafa, Shelly, Elaine, etc Without mvp Jamaica nuh get any medals
@@amazed2019 didn’t say that. U should understand wey mi a sey Ok since u nuh understand the most medals Jamaica get overall Olympics, world championships, diamond league ( though this is personal medals) etc If a relays mvp have no less than two athletes in the finals.
You comment is confusing. You clearly said that without MVP, Jamaica wouldn't have any medals and that is clearly false. If you try to say that I don't understand them it simply means that you didn't articulate your thoughts properly.
Because I am mixed race Jamaican, I couldn't help but notice that the woman in the cap & earrings standing by Kishane's left has a Chinese features face!?
@@minichikimakubex I remember last year when he ran a sub 9.9 from like lane 9 or 8 but he's been pretty much under the radar even for me as someone who follow track. Him and Rohan Wattson were big surprises last year.
@@minichikimakubex, He broke out last year locally, (9.80) but got injured, so the world didn’t get a chance to see him; he’s only unknown outside Jamaica. They call Jamaica “The Sprint Factory” for a reason. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
So forget the speed, but no one saying how FINE he is??? DAMN that is one Beautiful man!....now back to the speed...stay focus man and when dem woman start look you, just lock u eye and go get ur money 💰!
Usain may be a giant of a sprinter, well , Kishane is a beast of a sprinter...... Is speed, acceleration and execution is crazy.... May the Lord keep him healthy.
How tall is Kishane Thompson? The man is covering the 100m in 44 steps, averaging 2.27m per stride. That is Bolt territory. I think Bolt was covering the 100m in 43 steps, so Kishane definitely has some height. His robust build doesn't reflect his tallness. I thought Seville had very long strides for such a small stature, and Kishane seems to get past Seville with ease. The man is fast, for sure. Stride length always overcomes velocity if two sprinters have very similar leg speed. As a former half miler, I used to simply extend my strides and run past other runners without trying to go any faster. I think the same principle works at this level of performance as well, with the momentum that spinters generate. I think that this is why they can appear as if they are jogging, but effectively, they are covering a lot of ground. I most definitely can relate. My coach used to tell me that my stride length should be 2 feet more than my own height. It was mind bogling because I am 6ft 3 ins tall, but once I mastered how to execute it, I was making it look easy. Obligue Seville will run much faster come Paris Olympics. The attention on Kishane is making people forget about Seville. Glen Mills will also have him ready for maximum effort. However, Kishane might just be the faster of the two with those longer strides. Go 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
I WAS WORRIED ABOUT HIM SHUTTING DOWN IN THE FINALS WITH 30 METERS TO GO !!!! GLAD IT WAS COACHE'S INSTRUCTIONS that told him to do it, which means the strategy is working
@@barringtonedwards7008 I am not an idiot for saying it, because many athletes mis-judge and ease up 30 meters out and get pipped !!! Asafa Powell himself said it was a bad habit for him to do this when he was younger and almost not qualify for finals running the heats at the Olympics
@@faith-ei9bv He did shutdown!!! Him still hasn't run a full race yet, from heats to semis to finals he has been shutting down. The strategy is to use these trials as a championship practice to see where he is at..............................Now his coach knows they will go back to the drawing board. They are aiming to get him to fully execute their race strategy and have him peak at the right time, avoiding a full execution at trials less he injury himself and at the right time going all out for both the Olympic and World records!, to shock the world!!! I understand what they are trying to accomplish from hints in his interview
Humble. If Kishane stay fits. He cannot be beaten. His start is not bad. He does not have to come from the back like bolt. Let's see what happens. All the best for him. He is so young too
Frano camp is always deadly when it's comes on to Preformance he looks like a 9.6 runner and if he stay healthy for couple year he will come close to that WR
May God cover this young man and keep him free from injuries so that he can perform to his best potential! I hope to see him making his name in Paris! Speed is embedding in Jamaicans from preschool, so we will always be producing new speed machines ❤
A very powerful sprinter who I will be paying attention to going forward as a fan. Everyone should be worried about what this respectful young man is bringing to the table. 👍🏻
Him nuh need nuh PR team. We all understand his answers, and he also understands the questions. You want him to twang. That's why you made that statement.
@jackiefabulous6693 you are so missing the point. He will have to speak with a lot of foreign press. He's going to be invited unto way bigger stages, and he will have to know how to handle that. What questions to answer and which to avoid, etc, obviously we are on two different wave lengths.
Kishane, I like your style. You have to be you which means you do not have to send any message to any of your competetors. Quietly focus on what you want to achieve.
This young man wants gold medals. He knows hes fast but he wants gold medals so he will forever dismiss the asafa comparison.. About to do it like the lightening BOLT.
Manage your speed young lion try and stay calm when you press round 30 at that point you pull away from the pack regardless of who’s going with you, your strength is evident don’t force it if your 100% why break a record and it’s not THE BIG RACE I’m sayin it now he’s gonna win gold if he stays healthy Keep it a buck HANDS DOWN BEST 100meter race run this year and I’m American and we got freaks.
You should ALWAYS avail yourself to the drugs testers; it is the nature of the sport... And you should NEVER subject yourself to a whereabouts violation.
Wow wow!!! GO OUR NEW JAMAICAN SPRINT STAR.. KISHANE THOMPSON.. YOU AND OBLIQUE SEVILLE IS THE HOPE JAMAICA NEEDED.. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS AND KEEP YOU HEALTHY.. ITS YOUR TIME TO COOK YOUR FOOD SONS.. JAMAICA ❤❤❤❤
I don’t like the Asafa comparison, asafa is fast and talented but asafa was also a choker and an underachiever, I don’t think Kishane likes that comparison either..
I thought the drug tests were done on 1. Winners and 2. Computer generated random test. 3. Suspicion due to shaky behavior. I didn't know they can test put of personal feelings. Seems to be an abuse of the process
He did win tho right?with a blistering time for his first big race, they’re doing there job,if anything no one can question him now about what he’s doing because you know that would eventually happen
@@hazacarrobinson6673 Can you read? and if you can why are you injecting a meaning into what I said. Did I question the young man's performance or integrity? My question was clearly about the way the testing process seems haphazard.
@@winngriffand i said they’re doing there job it’s not always computer generated common sense tells u it is suspicious if someone’s first race is like that so it’s fine that they asked for a test, its not personal feelings,if im a testing personal and someone’s first race is what this guy puts out im asking them for a test period….if they’re clean it should be no problem and it doesn’t mean you’re disrespecting their work or anything but if they don’t test their bosses probably question them asking why didn’t they after a opening race like that
In these forthcoming Olympics, the Jamaican men's 4x100m relay men's could upset the US. The US is prone to making button exchange mistakes. One mistake could place them second. The team that would form the Jamaican quartet of Kishane, Oblique, Ackeem, Yohan would not tolerate any button exchange mistakes...
LEAKED MESSAGE Kishane, a product of laboratory creation, emerges as a remarkable athlete with an astonishing 9.77-second run in only his fifth 100m race. While his athletic background remains shrouded in mystery, his exceptional performance has led to whispers of him being dubbed the next great, the "Frano GOAT," with hopes that he does not follow the footsteps of Asafa "the chocker “Powell.
Why they didn't see any one else. To test like JA can't run. Like them need drugs. Them see the US guy and him was tested positive and he will be still run. I am praying for him Kishane Help him Jesus.
@@tamaragreen825 That literally is their job. The guys has nothing to hide, so he is okay with it. We have benefitted from our rigorous testing regime. It also serves to protect the sport locally and our athletes. All our top athletes go through this and additionally this is a season opener.
You go Kishane a God give u ur talent a nuh man so keep on surprising dem dem nuh see nothing yet they have a lot more testing to do the sky is the limit congrats
For a coach to tell his athlete to run the first 60 and jog the rest of the way is astonishing! I knew there is always strategy but this is NEXT LEVEL!! BOSS MOVE by the coach!!
