Kishimoto Wants Mario/Sonic 3D CROSSOVER Game, Flynn Wants Sonic FUSIONS In Games/Comics, & More?! 

Well.. looks like the Mario Movie actually DID hit $1 Billion Lol!

Be about time for a legitimate crossover between Mario and Sonic. If SMBZ taught us anything, it’s that the zany antics of the two worlds can blend flawlessly.

So what type of 3D Crossover Mario/Sonic Game would you guys like to see? And is fusions something you would also like to see implemented in the games and comics? Lemme know!

Sonic fans really need to be patient when it comes to DLC and other content. I want to see that kind of stuff as soon as possible too, but I'm not going to spam and tell Sonic Team to rush it. They need to take time and make sure the content is as good as possible. That's what made Sonic Frontiers such a solid foundation and even then, they were still slightly rushed towards the end. And this is coming from a dedicated Sonic fan, but Sega really needs to take into account what Miyamoto-san said about delayed games and rushed games. As for the other stuff, I'm really happy for Iizuka-san and Kishimoto-san. I don't know what went wrong with Lost World and Forces (save for writing), but I feel like deep down they truly care about the franchise. Having Takashi Iizuka being promoted as a Sega higher up hopefully means he's given more creative liberty. And Morio Kishimoto just has such a drive to see the Sonic franchise blossom into something astonishing. I'm so there for a Mario and Sonic crossover that isn't an Olympic Game title. And let's not forget about Ian Flynn writing the stories.

I like your take on everything. you had me hooked from the start when you aid "CALM DOWN AND BE PATIENT!" for real. I prefer quality over quantity. It's arguably the reason people enjoyed Zelda Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey so much, and it's great to see sega taking their time and taking fan input to improve their quality. I'm excited to see more of what they can do with Shadow. He may be cool as hell, but he's still a kind of 2 dimensional Character. we've had glimpses of him as a 3 dimensional character outside his titular game and game of origin,, so I'm excited. I would absolutely be on board for a Mario Sonic 3d Platforming Crossover. I appreciate the acknowledgement of needing to stand shoulder to shoulder first, and I'll support sega in that endeavour

Really interested in how Flynn will do fusions, i actually have my own take on how Sonic could have a different spin on fusion, basically instead of a 2 people fusion, how about a 3 people fusion? Sonic Tails and Knuckles fusion anybody? Maybe by using the Sonic Heroes symbol as an object?

Crossovers are like the Marvel series. It was interesting to have an expanded universe at first, but then it became there was a magical and/or powerful artifact available at virtually every cornerstore. Eventually it becomes too complex to manage and any advantages a crossover conferred are lost in the menagerie of characters that no longer make sense and have effectively become one-note gimmicks at best.

Really, Crossovers can only happen if there is a demand for it.....and they seem to be on the rise as of late. Some more than others. I mean, I myself am all for crossovers if they can make it work. But, if we are to see Sonic getting crossovers with IPs like Capcom's Mega Man or Street Fighter, or much more multimedia franchises like Hasbro's Transformers.....it is best to start out small with in-house crossovers before moving onto to goliaths like Mario. I should note that, if it can serve a purpose beyond fanservice....then please do go ahead and offer a logical explanation for it like Shadow and Sonic learning a special move like "Sonic Clash" or "Shadow Cross" (Cross meaning the same thing as "X" in Japanese games) or "Chaos Coalescence" As for Shadow being given guidelines.... It's about freaking time!

I think it's time We get a Mario and Sonic crossover mostly because 1. I'm tired of the Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games series since Mario and Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, but I would rather if it was an RPG made by Atlus, published by Sega and Nintendo over seeing productions which is where number 2 comes in, it's time for Nintendo to ditch Ubisoft I don't care how good the Mario + Rabbids games are Ubisoft is just as bad as Activision-Blizzard in terms of how vile the company is (watch Arlo's video on Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope video) that and the gaming community is fed up with Ubisoft, yes Sega-Atlus is no better but I'd rather buy a bad game than buy a game from a company that's vile. Ian Flynn wanting fusion in Sonic is a good idea like Shadic is a great idea and became popular with Sonic: Nazo Unleashed and I think because Sonic is inspired by Shonen manga like Dragon Ball fusion can work, look at BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo and how that series has fusion like Patch-BoBo, Den-Bo or Mr. Bo-Jiggler (mostly BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo was a lampoon of animes,) I know alot of Dragon Ball fans would be pissed being how trash the anime community is, I hope Sega-Atlus can green light this being with the Shadow mandates being lifted and thanks to Sonic Movie 1 and Sonic Movie 2, Sega-Atlus sees profit in this series again something that has not been seen in Sonic Adventure 2 (even though I like the Sonic Advance Trilogy, the Sonic Rush series Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colors Wii and DS Sonic Generations HD and 3DS and Sonic Mania/Sonic Mania Plus.)

3D Sonic has never been on the level of 3D Mario? WHAT? It doesn't take a genius to see that the very first 3D Sonic game, Sonic Adventure, is far more impressive in terms of scope and graphics than the first 3D Mario, which is Mario 64. The whole "Sonic had a rough transition into 3D" has no merit at all. Adventure was one helluva entry into the 3D realm.

Also i am not a big fan of collectathon 3d platformer like mario 64, sunshine or odyssey, because these games becomes very boring after the first playthrough (these games are not replayable for me ) + just because a game have a high score on metacritic doesn't mean it's a good game, take games like the last of US 2 and starwars battlefront 2 for a example
