Kishore studied philosophy too. He knows how to play mind games with the Americans. He knows when to pull punches and when to argue with logical reasoning without sounding rude.
China thinks Phillipines, Taiwan, Japan & India "nothing to consider" they have land China wants. China views all the land & sea's she wants as her own. So international rules don't apply. Same for Russia
This point of view is so precious. If all Asian nations unite together, the impact will be tremendous. And this is exactly what the "West" is afraid of.
The fking GOAT!! I never seen two white guys give off more colonizer vibes in my life, Kishore told this sinophobic audience how China's rise should be welcomed, not demonized, for its rise has been fast and large, accompanied with the least amount of bloodshed, and this bodes well for a new multipolar world.
You're undergoing immense salt(just like those 2 colonial master looking dudes behind Kishore) that Western hegemony has peaked and crumbling by the day
The late Mr Lee Kuan Yew is truly the National Treasure of Singapore. In Singapore's formative years, he stayed firm in his principles of government Singapore despite criticism from western governments.
@Elite Mangudai Many of our young Singaporeans have led a very good life sheltered by their parents who are too busy trying to accumulate more material wealths than giving time to morally educating their children. Parents expect schools to do the job but schools too are teaching how to excel in their academics to gain recognition for the schools and institutions. The ardent pursuit of material wealth, being recognised, being famous, being associated with the "right" people, living in the "right" addresses without balance are traits that can slowly but surely dismantle the very principles that were set forth by our Mr Lee Kuan Yew's era of governing of a nation that make Singapore great. During that era, Mr Lee and his old guards gave their all to give Singaporeans a better life by their personal sacrifices. Their incentives then was how to lift up Singapore to world standard from an extremely impoverished, chaotic, filthy and corrupted colony left behind by Britain. Their hearts were burning for a better Singapore and not for how much money they can acquire for themselves and their families by serving Singapore.
The voice of Asia is now confident, credible and replete with gravitas. The full weight of Prof Mahbubani's words are creating deep furrows on the brows of Pilsbury and MacMaster. Only reason and acceptance can smoothen them out.
The bottomline is ..... the China people are very very very HARDWORKING ...and having brains like all others..it is no wonder they shine .... they deserve their fruits of labour
