Clearly the audio is straight from the album........best Ace outfit ever though. Have had Unmasked on vinyl, tape, cd and now on spotify. Sorry Gene and Paul, KISS died the day that Ace left the band. Gratz on milking a dead cow for 40 years.

Thank you so much for sharing this. This is a treasure for me. I didn’t know that Eric Carr was in the band since Unmasked tour 1980. I was 12,when this came out and I enjoyed the old songs a lot. I remember ALIVE I and ALIVE II and the others albums . I know for many years that the old fans here in America never never wanted the new KISS. Only you have to observe one thing. This particular moment is unique in the music history 79-80. Go and check and you will see that many legendary bands struggled with their music like Rainbow, Genesis, Yes, Rush, Kansas, Led Zeppelin, Heart , …….others disappear or vanished because didn’t want to change .Was the time when many music styles collided, disco, pop , new wave, funk, punk. Was the first time when rock music was in danger ⚠️. They adapted, evolved like the others, the old fans after all this years still think that they were betrayed by their idols. But when I listened the new music I said mmm 🤔 ok and also the name of the album captivated me. For an instant I thought that they were literally without makeup. That KISS period (79-83)was the best for me. A lot of transitions from the disco- pop- rock to orchestra- pop-rock to heavy metal. Many people mind were behind these, producers, writers ✍️, costumes, new crew members, designers, ghosts musicians, thinkers and collaborations from you don’t know who in trying to save this band. Also you have to count with another new fans from Europe and AUSTRALIA KEPT KISS ALIVE. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 for them.

I watched this live on Countdown a few nights before the Melbourne gig.

Gene and paul are talking too much shit about this guy but this is raw Music directly from the best era of ace

The best thing they ever did was put on makeup! Those men were ugly with a capital u! They never would have made it with their music, it was the makeup! Too ugly to be true, but by the time they took the makeup off I was already a fan having grown up with them.
