Yes!! This is a film noir that transcends the genre and becomes something very special. With almost no sympathetic characters in the whole film, everyone out for himself and trying to put one over on the next one, isn't this film made over 50 years ago a perfect picture of the world in 2012? And might not a series of seemingly random, innocuous events like of all the passing cars it is Hammer's who picks up a woman with a deadly secret, lead to a horrific conclusion here on earth in the future?
