I think the old location was cool because locals and college students came out since it was a strip mall. I got married in the Hotter Than Hell chapel so it was cool to me. This version is still cool for being in a casino.

@@mattmillner1977 I also preferred the original location especially with it being right across the street from the hard Rock Hotel. Sadly they are both history.

I got into Kiss for a while, but I quickly grew out of them. None of their songs have much lasting appeal, because they don't have much substance to them. Also, the modern ability to print their own photos, stickers and 3D printing at home has ruined the novelty of collecting most things like that. eg. A mug with a band name on it was once a rare novelty. These days people can do that themselves.

@@jublywublyDecades of songs spanning different sounds, and none of their sounds have substance? I think the problem might be you. I'll bet you like Taylor Swift or think mumble rap is deep. Music can just be music. It doesn't need to soundtrack your life story or have strong meaning. You're like one of those people who think every movie must be dramatic or have a moral to the story, in order to be good.

the kiss makeup is licensed and done by this amazing company called Glamlite. I tagged nay in a few of their videos in case she'd wanted any of their kiss themed products to surprise with you haha. The PR box is probably that full price and it would have all the separate products inside maybe with a few extras.

Damn it, Sean! lol. I was in Canada and the US for 6 months last year. I met you at Fan Expo Canada with Jamie Kennedy, then again at Frightmare in The Falls. I spent a week in Vegas, went to Nightmare Toys, Nightmare Cafe right next door, Sliced Pizza and like 4 different Casinos. We didn’t go see this, I didn’t even know about it. This is awesome, man.

Hey Sean if you get a chance Video Bob Mosley is a huge fan and he was the announcer for KISS before they retired and he’s got some CQQL stuff in his house and he’s great friends with the guys from KISS and he lives in Vegas there he’s a prop makes things like Back to the Future car the Delorion but he’s a cool guy hopefully you make it happen to get with him ! since i first laid ears/eyes on kiss double live in 75 ( i think?) they just skyrocketed to heights never seen well maybe elvis n the beatles but.... i was 16 and was all in 🤟🏻... strutter deuce r n r allnite cold gin... yeah 🤟🏻🤟🏻... needless to say my dad hated "that damn kissy band" 😂😂

wow what an overwhelming museum! what would you do for layout sean if you had a set up like that, would you organise chronologically or by themes of the items/categories, ie masks, food, or was it interesting to see everything all mish mashed together? I bet it would have taken a long time to try and find one particular thing in the museum! do you catalogue your own items so you know what you have in your own collection?

Part of me wishes I was just a little older where I could be into Kiss. I've tried and just can't get into them. I think it's one of those you had to be there kinda bands and well, I wish I was there because it looked like fun.

It's getting much better. They redid one of the towers with all updated rooms and the new food court is great. You should have seen it a few years ago!

The Hard Rock is moving to the Mirage. So technically still exists, just not the original one.

It will never be the same. The Hard Rock was my go to hotel. Loved the vibe there and all the cool rock memorabilia. Saw many great concerts there too. Great memories for sure.

Yes there are plenty of better bands music wise in the world but as an all time favorite from music to appearance to show as an impressionable 7 year old in 1977 KISS was everything to me. So for all of that they get to be called my all time favorite band.

Same. Dad took a 9 yr old me & my 12 yr old cousin in 77 to see Kiss on the Love Gun tour. My first rock concert. It left an impression.
