As an Agronomist at heart and by college degree this is just beautiful. The first I learned when studying soil is that dirt is a “four lettered word” and it’s so refreshing to see people learning what that means

Very well done and inspirational movie. My late husband was a farmer, rancher. They were trying to get USA farmers to do No Till even back in the 1980's. This film shows it does work. We just need to re-think the way we garden and farm. I only have 12 acres but I am a great Land Steward and try to teach others who are interested.

Kiss the Ground will have you moved to tears by the end as Jason Mraz’s “I Won’t Give Up” plays alongside hopeful videography of children, the future of our planet, showing initiative to save it. Joshua and Rebecca Tickell, the directors of the documentary, demonstrate a clear understanding of how to ignite passion in an audience. Kiss the Ground gives an opportunity for farmers across the nation to share the way regenerative agricultural practices are not only feasible but provide benefits for both the farmer and reversing the effects of climate change. Each interview emphasizes the passion they have to educate future generations on sustainable farming practices. Moving images are accompanied by an epic soundtrack that is sure to leave its viewer anxious to start doing their part to reverse our current climate crisis.

Kiss the Ground is a documentary that, through dazzling visuals and celebrity cameos, inspires the viewer to care for the soil that they walk on. But Kiss the Ground is more than that: it is also a reminder of how delicate our environment is, and how we ought to take care of it by supporting regenerative farming practices. If our environment is healthy, so are we. I highly recommend the film to anyone who wants to be more aware of their environment.

The environmental documentary Kiss the Ground is a beautiful piece of work. Directed by Rebecca and Tickell, and narrated by Woody Harrelson, it focuses on healing the earth from the ground. The film promotes that by using regenerative agricultural techniques, we can save our planet from the climate crisis. It cleverly uses animation to reiterate and clarify many of the scientific points that it makes, so that way it is accessible and understandable for all audiences. I also like how the animations were fun, and aside from serving as a functional educating tool, it also made the movie more entertaining and added to the overall aesthetic of the film. Unlike some other documentaries, Kiss the Ground has an effortless balance of science, heart, and fun. I would recommend to anyone interested in seeing a film with a fresh perspective on the environment to watch this!

Now this is the kind of climate documentary we need. Seen a few lately that are just terrible, and this was not at all, this was inspiring. Having been interested in this for a long time I already knew about this approach since I saw the TED talk by the guy moving the cows around in Africa that's featured in this. But what I liked about this docu is that it focuses more on the solution than the problems, and it didn't try so hard to guilt people into going along with it by showing horrible images of animals being mistreated and a lot of those kinds of tactics I see in other documentaries on this subject. This mainly put the blame on governments rather than regular people just trying to make a living, and that's a good thing because for real change we need regular people to change governments. And it gives a lot of helpful tips to farmers that will not only make their farms more healthy but make them more profitable and independents from government subsidies. It's also pretty optimistic, which is much better than the doom and gloom ones that just end up paralyzing people. It also seemed to try to keep it simple in order for it to be accessible to everyone. Personally I would have liked to see a bit about vertical farms and aquaponics, but I guess they left that out to not complicate things. Totally agree with the message of this movie, if there is something us normal people can do it's this. In my opinion the approach to farming shown here will do more than going vegan or recycling the traditional way ever would.

This documentary was absolutely fantastic! My wife and I loved it and this is exactly what needs to be done. I've been doing no-till gardening for decades and never use pesticides and make my own compost. The only negative comment I have is that Woody says that the topic has unfortunately been politicized and then he proceeds to have the governor of California talk about how great he's doing in San Fransisco and then talks about what's happening in Detroit; two very democratic areas of the country. So the film ends up contradicting itself and politicizes the topic. Even in those brief moments it's not the way to bring everyone together to make this work. It would have been just effective without adding those interview into the movie. My two cents.

Kiss the Ground gives a rare insight into the environmental issues the world is currently facing. I love that despite the harsh truths, they still find a way to encourage the audience to be optimistic and work harder for a better future.

Josh and Rebecca Tickell have created an educational documentary that subverts the expectations of a climate change film. “Kiss the Ground” demonstrates the importance of steering towards new farming methods that take care of the planet we live on. Woody Harrelson’s narration guides viewers throughout the film, breaking down complex environmental science for those unaware about regenerative farming. The animation team also did a great job of visualizing environmental processes, making it easy to understand for visual learners like myself. Watching this film left me feeling knowledgeable about regenerative farming practices, and hopeful about the future of the farming industry.

I got a little teary eyed watching because this earth is our home and we've treated it so poorly and abused it. We are able to live in harmony with it, but we choose to abuse it. We need to change.

Every video i have seen before this one, people talk about the damage and the problems our planet is facing. Crisis is real my friends. I know. But this is the first time i heard people coming together and talk about a solution! This gives hope. Our planet cam hope of a greener future! Lots of love and appreciation from a hopeful Indian. I am sorry- i mean, from a hopeful fellow earthling.🥰🥰

I had been waiting for a very long time for some person/s to make a DOC about the reverse of climate change (Regeneration). To everyone who made this documentary Kiss the Ground (you are the genius of geniuses) and you have saved our planet. This Doc was so touching I was very emotional. From the heavens, to the Universe, Stars, Moon and Sun 1Love God bless xxxxxx Large groups of Anti climate change protesters constantly targeted the Oil makers such as Saudi Aramco , BHP, Shell, and Cervon because they took the ideology from scientists that there is too much fossil fuel released into the atmosphere. This ideology led to creating electric vehicles making Germany one of the first countries where many citizens are now driving electric vehicles. The European population such as German and Italy are wealthier compared to some of the poorer countries like Africa, and India. This meant that only 1/4 of the population in the poorer countries could afford to buy electric vehicles leaving 3/4 of the population in hardship and only a 1/4 of the population would be working while the other is starving. Why did these Anti Climate Change protesters wanting to destroy first and foremost the Oil Industry? Because they did not give a fuck about 3/4 of the world population who are low income earners, benefits, suffering, homeless, poverty stricken and the list goes on. To this Anti Climate change lobby group are you bastards going to buy electric vehicles for the poor.....Not kiss the ground....it's called kiss my arse lol.... Let me remind you that there have been many DOC's made over the last 10 years on Climate Change where government from all around the world had gathered but reality is that What is the solution? All I see is that money wasted when this money could of been used for better resources for recycling facilities or developing education programmes about recycling within the homes, schools, Universities and other.

I agree with Roma and said about EV's. The main problem with Ev's is not lithium mining or fossil-fueled electricity. The main problem is the batteries that are toxic and combustible - www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2020-09/sflf-hda090120.php and are not only dangerous when they burn but it also harms the environment as well since it releases fluoride gas as well as nickel and cobalt and manganese oxides (as explained in the link I provided). Whenever the battery of an electric vehicle burns the toxic ash left over needs to be disposed of properly or it can get into the environment where it can get into the food chain and do irreversible damage like shown here - phys.org/news/2020-06-heavy-metals-snake-livers-environmental.html. Also the fluoride gas from burning batteries is hazardous if it is inhaled. When I am saying these things I am NOT supporting fossil fuels like Trump. Instead I am pointing out that Ev's have problems and therefore there are OTHER WAYS to decarbonize transport like biofuels. Okay Okay I know you are going to squel "OH MY GOD ERIC YOU ARE SO WRONG ETHANOL , SOY AND PALM ARE NOT CARBON NEUTRAL AND CAUSE STARVATION DEATH AFSHGXGHDGFHD BLAH BLAH BLAH."Okay so then you should learn that not all biofuels have the land usage problem of ethanol, soy and palm oil. The biofuel I am advocating for in particluar are liquid fuel made from wood ,more precisly dead trees removed from forests to prevent wildfires - e360.yale.edu/features/in-california-a-push-grows-to-turn-dead-trees-into-biomass-energy. Yeah so not all biofuels take up huge amounts of land and compte with food production.
