So I’ve thought about my idea for my alpha-legion warband. But my idea is that they’re incredibly versed in void warfare. Like they can rival some of the Imperiums finest admirals in void combat. It’s still a work in progress, color scheme and name it’s just the idea that sticks out ya know.

one day I'll have to fight dave with my loyalist guard army who have been conversion built from chaos cultists and soon the blooded killteam that are backed up by loyalist beastmen guardsmen (once i actually have converted up some squads of them)

7:50 I reckon that you could use the veteran guard setup for Kill Team. As for normal 40k, probably using the Militarum data cards on a chaos team could work for these guys. At least until they get a proper set of rules.

I really wish GW would take some steps to make the models more posable/interchangable. I do not think it would take much. For example, neck nubs, instead of fixed positions, a tiny small hole in the torso for drilling magnets, interchangable legs with torsos. Also, to add some variety to left and right handed weapons. Almost everything is right handed.

so what rules are would you run with this? you still using them with Chaos Marines or just playing with Guard rules?

hey btw, your audio in this video is kind of borked. At least to me it's just coming out of the right headphone. There were a couple minutes in the early middle where it was coming out of both but then it went back to just the right. I checked other things on my computer, other youtube videos, and reloading the page so I think it's something wrong with the video itself. Also, fucken cool models.

Not sure on the Master Vox. Switch in another head and use the las pistol arm or the other one and they look very different. I used one of the female heads from the upgrade sprue for my second.

For anyone interested. Those Cobalt Keep bases are the best plain bases you can buy, if you're using any kind of magnetic storage. The only thing I would even consider over them is premade scenic bases.

I did this exact thing when I bought the Blooded Killteam, and what I did for the coms was use the arm with the cord/vox microphone! It's kinda funny to imagine them yelling into like 3 Microphones.

I like the back story for the traitor guard, it mimics real like history as well! After WW1 the brits started social housing to create more powerful cannon fodder for future wars!

I was actually wondering how to paint my traitors, so I decided that a regiment would be made up by a lot of different factions meaning that they would be a mish-mash of uniforms and colours, keeping the painting interesting.

I really like the lore for your regiment. It is always bittersweet fighting heretics who would otherwise be loyal if they were only cared for. I also like the name signifying that they are still slaves and they don't even realize it yet
