Kitchen - Filler Panels With U-Scribe 

That's a very useful jig I'm an installer here in Canada. I've used various ways of doing this but this seems to be a very simple and effective tool. Thanks for sharing that

Is this done for quickness because when I put my kitchen in I put the filler in smallest measurement and fetherd easifill so its looks plumb all the way down.

Would the filler not have looked better flush with the door? Just need to screw a Baton to the rear of the filler and set a gap between filler and the door.

How that jihsaw didn't chip out the malamine filler?

Questions: Why did you cut your fillet width at 40cm? Don't you need to measure both the largest side gap and smallest side gap to gauge what is the pre-scribe width of your fillet? You selected 40cm which is just shy of the 25cm gap + 18cm thickness of the cab side. Still confused and want to learn this technique. Aside from this point you did an excellent job of showing the proper technique of scribing the board, cutting it and finally affixing it to the side panel of the cab. Thank you taking the time to record this technique.... just need to know why you selected 40cm. RJS1948
