It’s really sad to be born in 1991, when I was in high school, that morning I saw MJ new, I call my popping teacher, he’s in the middle of sleep, he yelled at me don’t interrupt he’s good dream and MJ just no chance to die, after he woke up, he said sorry to me 😢
auguste nganta yes of course, in term of musicality, popping is more suitable and easier to achieve, but the style is also more subtle and detailed, comparing with breaking, it’s not that crowd pleasing unless you’re into dance community for some time or you’re into popping and know how to appreciate it. For crowd choosing, breakdance is easier to catch their attention with its incredible explosive moves. But still, high respect to both high level dancers no matter what.
@auguste nganta Breaking is much more eye catching. The average viewer can't even comprehend the subtle control that Kite is exhibiting, and the tech is too hard for them to follow. Popping has certain moves that will wow a large novice audience, but pretty much anything a breaker does with flips or spins will get a reaction out of any crowd.
@@ninjaninja9954 popping may seems easier bcuz its still dancing using your leg not like breaking , but actually the difficulty level is quite similar to bboy or even harder , try study other alien level poppers like gucchon, hoan, slim boogie, hozin,mt pop , kite ,greenteck , dokyun ,acky , etc and you'll know what i mean, FYI kite started as bboy and was known for his footwork in bboy scene back then just like how hes known in poppin
@@akazays1854 yeah but i mean physically harder. For example you see some overweight poppers which are pretty good but they can't break dance to save their life because physically they can't
Man !!! dancing it's awesome!!!! I don't care if it's locking popping breaking or any other category hip hop culture.. if you do it right and you have fun flavor and groove you got me!!!!! Love it ❤️♥️♥️
I think it's stupid to talk about who won, they were having fun and it's impossible to say who did better when they're doing 2 completely different styles
I think it's stupid when you think people talking about who won are stupid. I mean Of course people will talk about who won because of the battle aka COMPETITION, and every people have own opinions, even both of them are here to be winner 🤷♂️
ITS GREAT TO SEE THE RESPECT EACH SHOW BOTH GREAT AT THE ART...NEGUIN IS MULTI SKILLED N NATURAL FROM ALL POINTS N EXTREMELY HIGH FREQUENCY HES NOTHING TO SNEEZE AT FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW BBOY NEGUIN GREAT PERSON 👊🧢👟🤺✌📻
I don't know what you heard that it was in favor of kite, if the songs were hiphop, they weren't funk to say that it favored him, the 2 were about songs that are not his style
@@bemvsmau7218 I don't think so bruh.Neguin lost,Crowd is Weak.First round of neguin was good,I would gave a tie.Second round of neguin is 4 front flips....Kite Deserves a win!!!(I'm big fan of Neguin, but Kite was better this time)
crowd doesnt appreciate kite's subtle musicality and super high level of technicality. ig kite's dance (and maybe boogaloo in general) just isnt that musically accesible to a normal, mixed crowd
Not really, he had too many dead moments. In the first round while doing MJ moves he was going on for too long, especially when the crowd wasn't really feeling it much. Then in the second round he wasn't catching the right beat at the start. You can catch a part of the beat, but still be off musically since certain parts of the song should be reacted towards to really impress and entertain. Like at 2:25 he started killing it, but prior to that he just wasn't catching the beat right even if he was on beat.
@@jureantriabdi4591 it does take skill, but neguin spent more of his round flipping than doing actual toprock or floorwork. if u want a bboy thats actually well-rounded look at people like issei victor or phil wizard. plus there werent any judges, the crowd was the judge
Kite destroyed him...I really like Neguin he brought so much originality to breaking and he's on a different level even among the top bboys, but once you watch like 10 of his battles it starts to get quite repetitive and predictable...
@@Mr.Jasaw13 Musicality? Lmao no offense Negiun's 2nd round was basically just 4 front flips lol, you're comparing popping's musicality to bboy ? I bet you haven't delved deep enough into popping my friend.
Neguin got straight up murdered by technicality, crowd really just gave it to him because he flipped 4 times in the final round? Wtf!! there are levels to this shit & crowd really slept on that Kite won and this is coming from a bboy fan
I love to see respect among artists as I did in this battle. Kite and Neguin, a lot of respect for you. When I see this, I am proud to be part of hiphop. o/
Yeah Every Non-breaking dancers are ignorant about bboying. They say it is not dance, and everytime do go-down, footwork on floor in battle with bboys. Like saying "I can do this too!" But Guys. If you are in battle, just think about it. They were bboys who creat this. Keep it tight and just try to show your thing. When kite did go-down and breaking, he lost this battle.
