My opinion on Jaina at first “Cool she’s about peace and buddy’s with Thrall” later on”I get being mad about Theramore but damn girl you got too much anger” and now”OMFG JAINA IM SO SORRY I EVER DOUBTED YOU TOP 3 CHARS I LOVE BY FAR PLEASE BE A HUGE PART OF BFA”
Yeah, her writing was handled a little poorly in the past. Her actions kind of made sense, but it was very much all or nothing, instead of showing a gradual progression. It's surprising how much a simple animated short like this rectifies a lot of that.
Admiral Proudmoore: "You have always been naive, my daughter. You aren't old enough to remember what these monsters did to our homeland. The orcs and their kin cannot be trusted. They must be exterminated like the mongrels they are!" Jaina: "I won't let you do it, father. You don't understand!" Admiral Proudmoore: "I understand more than you suspect, my dear. Perhaps in time, you will too."
Jaina is riding in to battle on the fucking Proudmoore. Thrall talked her down after Theramore, there's no talking her down this time. I'm usually not an RP nerd but Admiral Hat's on for Daelin, warmode never coming off.
OneMeanDragon She is still the strongest mortal mage. She's trained under Aegwynn and Antonidas, has the essence of a Titan Watcher in her staff (power of Lei shen) and learned the fundamentals of magic from Kalecgos. She has khadgar beat in all categories except maybe experience.
I want to see Jaina have interactions in this expac with Rexxar, Chen Stormstout, and Rokhan. I want to see what her eyes now see. Are they now sullied, in her eyes? Or would she believe that they were simply a force facilitated by her mistakes? Is her vengeance tied more to destruction or atonement? Also, she looks to me like she's using necromancy, which is interesting. What other kind of magic summons a ghost ship?
The song says it all man, "I'm listening now father". Daelin preached that there could be no peace, the orcs had to die. Jaina only ever wanted peace and understanding between the Alliance and the horde. She stood by and LET her father die. She loved Arthas, walked away when he purged Stratholme and joined the fight against him when he took the mantle of Lich King. Not even Anduin pursued peace the way Jaina did. And then...Theramore burned. She let the horde in Dalaran and they stole from her and killed her people. She fought beside them on the Broken Shore and watched as they walked away, leaving Varian to die. Here's something worth noting. After Theramore, she almost wiped the horde out by herself until Thrall talked her down. She's riding in to battle on that ship, her fathers ship, The Proudmoore. There is no atonement, this is about a body count. Anyone affiliated with the horde is her enemy. Admiral Hat on for Daelin, warmode never coming off.
Or she used Arcane magic to float the ship and keep it floating until she could get it repaired. Or fixed it herself. Magic is very versatile, it doesn't have to be necromancy.
You should absolutely play WC3 Reign of chaos and The frozen throne if you haven't played it yet. The game and the story is amazing. Record it or stream it too, it'll boost up your views since people love that game.
i was getting annoyed becuase you talked through the song and you couldn't hear the lyrics to the shanty, which expresses the feelings of her own people, the nation of kul'tiras. she is singing about herself and how she is seen as a backstabbing traitor. it's heavy stuff. then she owns up to the song at the very end and makes it her own warning to the horde. but then in your commentary, thankfully you had looked into and found out the back story and understood it all. thanks for looking into the history and talking about it.
reaction doesn't mean verbalizing every thought you have throughout a video you're watching for the first time. otherwise how can you truly comprehend what's going on? many other better reaction vids show people's reactions by their facial expressions, body language, maybe gasps or a few words of surprise here or there. but you do yourself a disservice by yackety-yacking through a first time video where LISTENING is important to understand what's happening.
Super pissed is your roommate eating the last piece of your mom's homemade cheesecake. Fighting for years to preserve your island and your people at the expense of your father's life... and having your home bombed by a psychopathic piece of shit, losing some of your oldest friends in the process as well... having the alliance and kirin tor turn on you... being reviled by your homeland even as those same parties are gearing up to fight those orcs and monsters... that's more than being super pissed... That's a rage that burns so hot as to be cold.
Old god corruption and dreadlord would be boring and annoying. if she's killed that'd be annoying too. Blizzard needs to learn how to keep characters that are different. Night elves would be a lot more warlike too. should be. like Jaina is now.
Pls revive somehow daelin proudmoore, make him king of alliance and lets have both sides a leader with out mercy. And btw we get away of that anduin child on that way
hey man just a tip, you can make the videos a bit louder because that way you can let viewers watch the clip with you too ! this is just like watching you react to an almost mute clip. hope it helps :)
I guess it's more of a redemption thing. She is blamed for the death of her father, but can now understand why he acted like he did, and that she was "wrong" - in her point of view -. So she decide to bear the weight of her act and follow through what her father wanted her to be, taking the warnings about her in the song to make them directed at the horde. This is also why she take the boat of her father.
Another fake reaction. Getting sick of all these RU-vidrs trying to peddle themselves as lore experts and future prognosticators because they're pawning fake "Oh I'm seeing this for the first time but my commentary makes you think I'm an expert!" BS vidoes. He already saw this, just watch his facial expressions. So lame.
