Before the previous co-worker, I never had a problem. My husband has always had female best friends, but this one didn’t understand how to address a married man… my husband never addressed her in a way that made me feel uncomfortable, it was her responses to him that were my problem… I encourage my husband to talk to me about his attractions to other women, not ignore them. I try to encourage open dialogue. He is married, he isn’t blind. In my last relationship, I tried to keep someone that no longer wanted to be kept, and I promised I would never do it again. If he decides to mess this up with one of his friends, that is his decision. I will deal with the pain, and move on to whatever better things God has in store for me.
