Ah yes! The days of driving from Pa. to Maryland to see KIX. So many great memories, the Mountain View, The Seagull, etc. The early 80's were the best time of my life. Thank you, KIX, for the great memories ;)
Thx for recording this!!! Will definitely miss the boys from Kix!!! They been a big part of my life; Happy Retirement and well deserved!!! It’s been a pleasure to have you Rock My Face Off!!! 🤘🏻
Jimmy is still one of the greatest drummers in the business for a dude that suffered a near death heart attack and then a stroke 2 years later and can still play the drums is awesome in it self but to still sound so good is just amazing thank you for 45+ year's from us to the true cool kids we'll miss you all
Thank you posting one of the last shows from this amazing band in its entirety and great quality. We will be at the final show at Merriweather on September 17th...bitter sweet. Cheers and Rock On! But how do you only play one song off Hotwire??? Come on guys its an amazing album that deserves more than 1 song played live on the final few shows.
My first KIX show was 1986. It was an all ages show at Hammerjacks on a Sunday night. It changed my life, and I became a fan going out and buying every album. Thought the rock world ended when they broke up and was so happy when they reunited. I have been to many KIX shows over the years and have never been disappointed. Each one was a musical high. I'm sorry to see the end again, but want to thank each member of the band for a lifetime of kick ass metal rock and roll. You are my favorite band ever! See you September 17.
I just watched this whole concert and I just want to THANK whoever put it on RU-vid because I absolutely loved it!! 👍🤟🫶🏼 I can’t wait to go to the last show this Sunday 9/17/23!! ❤️❤️
Thank you for posting this my wife was so bummed out she was sick last night and couldn't make it to see her favorite band and I was there but not in a very good area to video thank you so much amazing show
This is tragic. Well it happens. It said I remember like nine months ago a year ago when Steve mentioned this is our last show coming up here it is I’m sorry I love KX
Great footage. What did you shoot it with? It blows away my video and sound quality. Where we were at the vocals, bass drum and bass were so overpowering it was hard to understand Steve
It was funny seeing Jimmy start the wrong song after kix are for kids lol, it happens to everyone lol.. kix is a fantastic band that's better live than in the studio....
They shelved Kix when grunge was popular, then got back together for M3. Hopefully they will get back together like Kiss and Motley Crüe did. They still have the energy!
I read a thing with steve and he said it's his voice that has alot to do with it, he said he couldnt hit some of the notes and that bothers him, basically I think he diesnt want people to look at him like vince neil, I'm sure there are other things but he was stressing he didnt wanna go out and be embarrassed because he couldnt sing anymore.
Amazing live band total workhorse band who kept grinding and playing shows and building loyal fan bases where they clearly have more drawing power than a lot of bands who outsold them back in the day and had more MTV exposure. Wish them the best going forward not sure if Brian Forsythe is ready to call it quits if so all the best if not he would be a great pick up for any band who needs a guitar player still plays amazing and is very youthful and fit.
Tune your guitars, boys! absolutely awful. I love you Kix..but i can see why Steve wants to throw in the towel. This was a serious phone in show...shame on Brian too..i expected better from you. You're spending too much time focused on your diet regime. You used to be a stellar guitarist.
