Thanks for your comment. It is doubtful that we will review the Ruckman Reference Bible any time soon as that is not a bible that we carry nor have interest in carrying. We do not agree with Ruckman's doctrine or teachings regarding the KJV Bible. Ruckman can be summed up best in his own words by his erroneous statement (in his own Ruckman Reference Bible): "The King James Version is an improvement over the 'Hebrew.'" There are lots of Ruckman reference bible reviews online, and it's one of the best KJV study bibles, far superior to the scofield. Ruckman got right dispensations, salvation and many other stuff that bibles like scofield make a mess, but the worst thing that scofield does, it's to criticize the text of the King James. The bible says it's the word of a King (Ecl 8:4), and it's purified 7 times according to Salm 12:6-7, so the King James bible is the only one that fit that biblical description: Tyndale, Coverdale, Mattheus, Great, Geneva, Bishops and King James, the 7 times purified word of God. And the Salm says it's PURE. The only "originals" that ever existed, were those written by the finger of God. All others are copies of copies of copies. So you need to believe God kept his promise to preserve his word PURE, and it's PURIFIED 7 TIMES. If you don't believe that, you are never gonna understand the KJV is the perfect word of God, preserved by GOD HIMSELF. So if Ruckman said it's better that the hebrew, you better take a lisen. Other bible that come close it's the common man's reference bible. Scofied attack the text of the King James, Ryrie does the same as well as the Tompson chain and many other study bibles. And the Ruckman do not attack the text, he knows it's perfect. And you can see the same in the Common man's study bible. To attack the text of the King James bible is the worst thing a study bible can do. You are never gonna agree with the commentary, but make sure the commentary do not attack the text or is gonna attack your faith, because is like having the "Yea, hath God said" speech right on the notes. Ruckman reference bible and the common man's reference bible exalt the text. Those are the only bibles I recommend. If they attack the text of the King James, that's a big NO!

Those with "Old" in the title which contain the original 1917 Notes and References, and the one with "3" or "3rd Edition" in the title. In short, we do not know of any major doctrinal issues at all present in the KJV Old Scofield Study Bible. It's basically been the best-selling study bible of all-time and the study bible that pretty much all other study bibles have been judged against for the last 100 years. Like anything, the Scofield is probably the most often attacked because it is the most popular and widely used. No two Christians are ever going to agree on everything. Our thoughts are that the King James Bible is the Word of God, and that 1 John 5:7-8 absolutely appears in the CORRECT manuscripts (Textus Receptus). Whether Scofield or any other scholar chooses to defer to the Westcott & Hort texts, that question the validity of this verse (s), is of no concern to us. We disagree with that doctrine or opinion and do believe 1 John 5:7-8 is the Word of God and does support the doctrine of the Trinity.

AD 26 at the top of the center-column reference is when scholars and Scofield agree "it happened", i.e. when the things that happened in John 1 actually took place, such as John the Baptist "a man sent from God, whose name was John." in John 1:6. AD 85 - AD 90 is when the Apostle John wrote about it. When it happened (AD 26) and when it was actually written down (AD 85 - AD 90) can be different. This would also correspond with "The events recorded in this book cover a period of 7 years." The dates at the top of the center-column reference system span from A.D. 26 in John 1 to A.D. 33 in John 21. You'll see similar timing in the book introductions of the other Gospels as well. Matthew lists AD 37 in the book intro, while the center column dates span from B.C. 4 - A.D. 33. Mark lists A.D. 57 - A.D. 63 in the book intro, while the center column dates span from A.D. 26 - A.D. 33. Luke lists A.D. 63 - A.D. 68 in the book intro, while the center column dates span from B.C. 7 - A.D. 33. Those dates could apparently also correspond with why they appear in that exact canonical order of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Because they are organized in order of when they were written. What you need to understand is that there is a difference in a "publication date" or "print date" and a "Copyright date". The latest edition of the KJV Old Scofield Study Bible, which are shown in this video, is the 1996 Copyright version. Just because a bible is "printed" or "published" in 2018, does not mean it is not using the same 1996 Scofield Edition and 1996 Scofield notes. You also menion "lot of changes of taken place" but provide no specific examples and no photos or videos showing specifically what has supposedly been changed. A lot of people like to throw out a lot of incorrect comments and statements regarding the KJV Old Scofield Study Bible, and 99% of them are just plain false or provide no evidence. @@TheKJVStore for instance in the lords prayer ,the word trespasses and trespass is change to debts and debtor's their many more ,the new changes make no sense and can easily be misconstrued one may think it's to do with money. Wineskins was changed to wine bottles this makes no sense as old botels cannot be broken by pouring new wine etc . I pefer the older version pls can be kind enough to mention the copyright of the bibles you sell
