I just bought one of these to be the partner to my LSB portable paragraph reference. They will both have the same binding/exterior: black full yapp, same spine hubs, same red under gold page edge gilding, both have an interior gold gilt line. So I’ll have the best of both worlds, the best KJV study Bible ever produced, along with the best modern translation. The best TR translation, with the best CT translation. Matching Bibles, yet different ends of the translation spectrum. Love it. Going to be the perfect pairing.
I ordered two of these bibles back in May 3 of last year, and because of the pandemic getting it was an issue. I finally received it January 25, 2022. I had the option of getting my money back and waiting till they were back in stock, but opted to wait. Glad I did, very nice Bible! Good quality and very well put together. My only disappointment is the font. Would have preferred larger, as my eyesight isn't as good as it use to be. Other than that I'm very pleased with it! Thank you KJV Store!
Print too small for me. I need 11 to 12 point font. I use a lap tray to put my Bible on so a larger size book isn't an issue for me. If they would have made the paper larger, keeping the cover the same size, it would be great for me. I'm not a fan of large yapps anyway, so make it large print, please. :)
This one does not. I don't actually sell Bibles, but I might be able to help you find one that will fit. Are there specific features you'd like? My personal favorite wide-margin KJV with self-pronouncing marks is the Concord.
@@shellg3320 your two best options for large print reference editions with self-pronouncing text are the Cambridge Turquoise and the RL Allan Longprimer. I've reviewed both in text and video. I like both and highly recommend them The Turquoise is a great choice if you want red letter. The Longprimer is best for black letter.
The Scofield notes are the entire point of this Bible. The closest thing to it would probably be the RL Allan 63 Sovereign (in Highland Goatskin). It isn't technically a wide margin Bible, but it's close enough, and it uses the same Oxford typesetting, minus the Scofield notes, heading labels, etc. Other KJV Bibles of comparable quality would be the Wide Margin versions of the Schuyler Canterbury or the Cambridge Concord. A lower-cost option, might be the Thomas Nelson KJV Sovereign. I understand they plan to release a wide margin version later this year. The quality isn't nearly as high, but the typesetting is beautiful, and the cost is much lower.
I have a 1967 Oxford Morocco leather Scofield that I adore, but I loathe the self pronouncing text. This here is beautiful 😍 I can't get past the KJV logo on the spine, tho ... sighhh 😫
