I've been mixing the SH with my lotion and a small scoop of loose highlighter which gives it a much nicer smell, easier to apply and a dewy/shimmer glow. Thanx for taking the time to compare them both.
Thank you for explaining the diffrence of these two products, you are so good at detailing every thing about the products in such a way that you leave no questions for the viewer, great job.
I got the KKW in the shade dark, i am BEYOND pleased with this! It’s literally my skin colour and doesnt look heavy (some body makeup can age your hands) i really love it, i know its pricy but I definitely will be repurchasing
I mix my sally Hansen with a Nivea body lotion before applying and it spreads out SO much easier ! It stays on just the same and looks a little less matte.
I do the same but mix it with Sol De Janiero Bum Bum Cream. Decided to try KKW despite not being a fan.....I ended up restocking on this and order like 6 in my color since they are getting rid of the products.
I’d bet it’s best if you use this as regular face foundation too because given it comes in a big tube, it would last longer than any regular foundation :)
This was a really interesting comparison. I used to use the sally hansen version in high school but the color was really unnatural on me as far as color
I love it. So natural and great transfer proof. I made my own powder by mixing several and added a Too Faced Highlighter I had several🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 I bought light also and I am very fair in winter. Light is not light, it has a lot of orange to be light. I need pale or fair idk what the new colors are at the moment. I add a color corrector for now
Em Yeu I did on my legs and mentioned that it still looks very much like foundation with a highlight powder on top (in natural lighting). I just didn’t love the look of it.
check out emerald beauty on Instagram for how it looks as a face foundation. it actually looks incredible. I'm waiting for a restock to purchase as normal foundation. she has a video of her applying it & a photo after setting it.
I am unfollowing any RU-vid-r that will review body foundation. Enough with beauty industry perpetuating there is always more and more wrong with our bodies. Where does this stop? The ones benefitting feeding off our insecurities is the beauty industry.
@@TheVinguyen depends, have you ever seen a man getting a bruise and trying to cover it with foundation? It has everything to do with insecurities. Let the beauty industry feed off it by peddling even more 'solutions' to achieve a 'perfect' look because god forbid women were the only species on Planet Earth that got bruised during everyday life - who needs to see those? Men on the other hand having eczema and psoriasis - totally normal.
NYCOC I don’t think it’s that serious. If I have a wedding or event to go to most likely I’m wearing a dress and my husband will be wearing a suit. He can’t show any bruises being covered up. I have personally covered up a bruise on my husband before bc he asked me to bc we had somewhere to be. I just don’t want to look all beat up when I’m going somewhere nice it’s not just about being “perfect” but you are entitled to think what you want of course. I bruise incredibly easily so I deal with this on the regular.
@@TheVinguyen I will hold onto my view of our perceptions of beauty ideals having been skewed by a capitalistic industry . It is that serious. Only matter of time before cis-males are doing the full beat-too (nothing wrong w/ men in makeup but just that we need to be comfortable in our skin). Then we will move to toddlers and babies covering skin rashes. Where will we stop? I bruise easily too but feel no need to cover it up. That is how human bodies were made, nothing to hide or be ashamed about. We need to draw a line is all I am getting at. You can disagree.
