You can easily see the potential of a friendship here. Not only do we see Klaus differently in this scene, but we also see how Caroline is very comfortable around him, the way she snaps back at him, vents to him about Elena's case and then asking him about his wish to become a human. In all their scenes, their conversations seem so candid and different from how she is with the other guys. She was very open and honest with him. And vice versa. So not only do they make a good romantic pair, they have good friendship (adorable banter between them) and they can be two good allies as well. Not one thing about this date seemed fake. They both seemed to have enjoyed it. Caroline is sweet but she is a perfectionist and a bit high maintenance and Klaus just seems how to handle her. And she brings out the natural, adorable and charming side of him.

I always liked her more than Cami, she made him laugh, be normal. But after what they did in TVD even if she would have show up there it wouldn't be the same, shame...

If by the end of the series they become endgame I'm going to cry happy tears.

One of my favourite episodes. And only because of their scenes. You can feel the chemistry, like in no other relationship in this show. THIS one trumps any damon/stefan/elena that ever happened (And dont get me started on Caroline/Stefan, cuz that one is the most forced couple in the history of time). I have NEVER shipped any pair in any show/comic/anime etc. And then Klaus & Caroline happened. With all thats going on in The Originals I doubt they will end up together but they are so perfect for each other that I just can't stand it. At least Julie Plec ended The Diaries giving us hope. I really hope he will become her "last love".
