Fourth, however, a full-blown relationship and a one-night stand are two completely different things. A full-blown relationship is where you and your partner have been together for one month, 2 months, or 3 months etc. whereas a one night stand is just where you and that other person slept together and nothing more.

If your parent was murdered, and a friend/former partner slept with them, how do you think that would that make you feel?

Alaric should have stepped up as a parental figure and removed Damon and Stefan from their lives by either driving them out of town, exposing them, or leaving with Jeremy, Jenna and Elena somewhere else. Tyler was the product of a shit father not knowing how to parent a child and a mother who didn’t care to discipline and thus thought he could get away with being a bully. Elena unironically causes so many problems the entire series with this holier than thou mentality, she blames people (Katherine) for choosing to try live instead of die as a sacrifice. Katherine literally could have been an anti hero if done correctly but became a psychotic damaged woman who is jealous of a FUCKING HUMAN WHO CAN DIE AT ANY POINT. Kat baby girl get your shit together. Stop pining over men who are clearly not worth it. Point is, some of these characters are my fav. I; however, will not defend them when they do shit wrong. I’m not going to bring up stupid stuff that happened a season before or after the incident. What matters is the conduct in that moment. @@bhumikadash5865 that's not my point. Damon did that as THE first bad guy that was introduced in the show. Elena, Caroline, Bonnie and even his own brother hated him for what he did to Caroline and every innocent person he hurt at the beginning of the show. But he was supposed to have a character development and find his way with the help of his brother and his true love, Elena. However, after seasons of him being in their friend group and helping all of them, Caroline was still mad when Elena told her that she slept with him on season 4. Don't get me wrong, she had every reason to be mad at her friend because after all, Damon did abuse her when she was just a teenager. But Klaus remains one of the biggest villains in Elena and Tyler's life until the end. He took his mom and her Aunt and basically tried to sacrifice Elena more than once. He compelled Stefan to bring out his ripper side and so much more. So Caroline running to Elena to let her know she has slept with him was absolutely insane. As Caroline once said , Klaus was never the villain in her story. So I actually loved the idea of the two of them together until the end of the originals. I'm just saying that Elena being excited about them having sex makes no sense. Unlike Damon, Klaus was never forgiven by them because his story in mystic falls was not about his redemption.

I agree with everything 1000%! But a slight change I would make: when Tyler got sired, of course he was acting different, but it was out of his control! Damon was literally taught to be a vampire and then forced to be a vampire by his brother. He didn’t even hold that grudge for 145 years, he really only started it in the 1990s, before that he did try to fix their broken relationship, but because of Stefan’s lack of control and Lexi’s interference, he was left alone for 145 years. Sure, he did go after 17/18 year old girls, but the age of consent in some states is actually 16, so it’s not like their underage. Most of the time when Damon does something stupid, it’s both impulsive and something he regrets. Klaus is NOT better than Damon, he became a monster on his own, while Damon was taught to be one and then was abandoned by everyone who ever loved him for 145 years, including the woman he loved for that long.

Oh please gtfo. She deserves to feel guilty and more. And even so, Tyler has every right to express his anger. Stefan shouldn’t get mad at Tyler for doing so

Klaus has wanted caroline dead multiple times when Tyler was sired to him he made Tyler bite caroline to get revenge for stefan killing one of his hybrids

It's not dumb to be mad at Caroline, she slept with the person that killed his mother. If Tyler slept with someone who killed Sheriff Forbes, everyone would have had an issue with him. Tyler only wanted revenge against Klaus because he literally made Tyler his slave, how can Stefan be justified in wanting revenge against Klaus for the very same thing except in Tyler's case Klaus did much worse to him. Not only that, but Klaus literally tried to kill Caroline three times: he wanted to sacrifice her for the spell in season 2 but then chose Jenna, he made Tyler bite her and he stabbed her with a wooden pole then bit her and even after Tyler begged him to save Caroline and offered to be his slave, Klaus still refused multiple times. He only saved her at the 11th hour. Klaus's actions were way worse than Tyler's ever was yet it gets excused because he's more handsome and charming. Klaus hurt Caroline more, he killed Elena's aunt, he killed Elena then smacked her and tried to kill her again, he killed Tyler, he almost killed Jeremy... I could go on and on. Tyler was 100% right here. Yes, he did bad things in the past but literally all of them did so to act like his bad actions means Caroline is justified - when it has nothing to do with this confrontation - is wild.

Elena was wrong for sleeping with Damon knowing what he did to her brother and to Caroline. It's one thing to sleep with someone your ex or friend happens to have bad blood with, it's another thing to sleep with someone who kills your family. If Rebekah was killed by someone and let's say Marcel slept with that person, everyone would see how wrong that is. Again, sleeping with each other's exes or just generally sleeping around is one thing but sleeping with someone who killed your ex's parent not too long ago - when your ex was enslaved by that person and has to be on the run from them - is painfully wrong. If Tyler slept with someone who killed Sheriff Forbed right after he and Caroline broke up, most people defending Caroline right now would absolutely hate him. So, you can have your opinion but it's not as simple as "everyone sleeps around," it's a matter of principle and context.

It’s not about her sleeping with someone else. It’s about that someone else being Klaus of all ppl. Had she slept with a normal person, or even a stranger fine. But she slept with Klaus, the biggest villain who ruined the lives of Katherine, Stefan, Elena, Tyler & more. She didn’t just betray Tyler, she betrayed Elena too.

Tyler wanted revenge against Klaus because he killed him and made him a slave, not because of some fantasy or because he wanted to be the alpha. In fact, Hayley was the one who pushed the whole alpha thing onto Tyler. And none of that justifies Caroline sleeping with the man that killed Tyler's mother. Tyler only wanted to be free from Klaus, just like Stefan did yet no one judged Stefan for wanting revenge against Klaus for having him turn off his humanity and go on the road trip and make hybrids. Tyler was 100% right in this situation. Exactly when and how did Tyler put everyone in danger the most?
