Wow those really are small pans..great turnout,and I agree Klesh has been a stable for paydirt. If you want to try his "other flavors" of paydirt. Shane just added his complete gold panning experience "paydirt only" to his menu, I recommend trying that bundle. (PS Klesh sent me)

I'll definitely check it out. I've tried a few of the all-in-one kits, but they seem to be lacking in a few places (especially the included snuffer bottle). Klesh's kit seems like the way to go. Thanks again!

I didn't miss it. :) I've re-panned about a half dozen times for practice and saved all of the quartz and gems for admiring later. Seems like I underestimated the interest in the non-gold included in the paydirt. There were some pretty neat pieces.

What was the weight?

Not sure. I was so excited that I didn't weigh it. I'll make sure and add weights at the end from now on. It's a good way to gauge the quality of the paydirt, but I'm just in it to build my skills. I added the gold back into some more black sands and practiced a few times before adding to the vial.

Did you have a surfactant in the water(i.e jet dry?😉) *edit* hadn't gotten to the part of the video where you said that yet. Also, that was totally a picker, lol
