I have had the Induction Pro Jacket and pants for a while now. I have zero concern about rain and for almost 40 years of summers now, I have routinely rode for hours in temps above 100 degrees. Staying hydrated is an integral part of my touring and that makes this pants and coat setup (along with vented boots) for me, the best for hot weather gear I have ever had.
The Marrakesh is NOT a full mesh jacket: it's an uncoated cordura weave which allows a little airflow but a ton of stretch. Super comfortable, but really not well suited for hot Summer riding. I have the Marrakesh pants which I wear with my Kodiak jacket in moderate temps when I don't want to wear my Goretex Kodiak pants. When it gets hot I reach for my light grey Mojave pants and my black Induction Pro - a great combination. I found the light grey Induction Pro picked up dirt quickly - especially bug juice! The black is really no warmer than the grey. Cheers!
