Probably one of the better videos I seen on a line up. Great for people like me who are not familiar with the Klim lineup. I also liked it because Lukas tried each on and shows me the cut of each. Just got the Klim Induction, VERY impressed, most airflow I ever had in a jacket. Next up is Marrakesh for cooler desert nights. Thanks for video Lukas.
I had the Carlsbad, the goretex don’t work for tropical rains 😂 I was drenched. So now I wear only mesh so I dry up a lot quicker & not forgetting lighter. In the heat with extreme humidity Airflow is key
Why is Traverse left out almost every review? It is a super solid option (2016 version) for the price- goretex, great venting, great fit etc. What model pants are on the presenter?
@@manybikes I got mine in and a few short rides with it. Being able to store the rain jacket in the pouch and not my top case is awesome. I live in Louisiana so already tested that out. Much quicker. I'm getting Carlsbad pants though so I don't need to a separate rain pant. May be hotter but lower ventilation is not as critical as upper is.
I have a Klim Dakar jacket, but after putting in the D3O back armor, venting is affected and gets a bit hot... i currently mix my BMW Rally jacket with Klim Badland pants (for venting reasons)... its a bit clashy, but I can't complain about the venting.
I just bought a ktm 390 adventure and will mostly be on pavement and then take the occasional dirt and gravel roads where does a guy start with these jackets? So many options
Other than "casual", my Darien does all of this. (Whoever heard of a casual motorcycle crash? Fashion not crashin'? ). It's also repairable, customizable, comes in more colors and more sizes. It's made in America.
I have klim overlander full armor , klim stowaway , klim inferno mid layer ,interested in the new dakar enduro jacket ,,currently i use a lightweight Fox enduro as you didnt make endure ,i also have a new acerbic MX1 jacket very nice italian cut ,very much like the americash ,to nice to get muddy off road,
@@Asdfghjkl1234 No. I ended up getting a KLIM tactical shirt which is an armored meshed (tight meshed) pullover. Wear it alone or under a jersey when hot.
I ordered rain bottom from KLIM. I received an email that the item was shipped. They provided a shipping number without the shipping company name. I ran the number through all the companies that deliver to my area; and all indicated there they had no package in their system.I emailed KLIM and I got................CRICKETS!!!!!!!!...............No Reply.
How is the Marrakesh for dual sport riding, and how would it hold up for a low speed tumble into the dirt? I like the idea of something with great range of motion.
I can’t answer your questions as I haven’t tumbled yet. But, I can tell you that the Marrakesh is a fantastic garment. The stretch is fantastic and since its made of 1000d cordura which is supposed to be as resistant to abrasion as leather, I’m sure it will hold up nicely. I also have the pants.
What’s ‘casual’ about coming off your bike? Waxed cotton belongs on vintage enduro videos. Unless it’s backed with Kevlar it’s as useless as normal jeans.
