Everyone in Liverpool knows where Klopp lives, drinks and walks his dog but we leave him alone...he works his socks off for us and deserves peace and quiet when he's at home with his family.
@@seaghan6412 Every nation has gated communities I thought so But still he defintely has body guard or security, no way his celebrity status can be acted like normal civilian
I live just around the corner from him. He is the manager of one of the biggest football clubs in world, yet he drinks in my local, says hello and has a chat when out walking his dog. He doesn’t exist in his own bubble like most elite professional footballers and managers these days, an absolute true gent and Liverpool are very lucky to have him 😀
@@user-uo2sl5us8f yeah, the thropies won with Dormund againts a Bayern Munich that was a dominating force in Europe is nothing, nothing at all. And yeah, he is an inferior manager in comparison to Dechamps because the latter won a World Cup. The "winning" argument is a shit one.
I hope that every fan who sees him on holiday in 20 years just smiles at him or says thanks and moves on without any pictures or autographs - we all owe him that peace.
this ist so f*****ing crazy. All comments are consistently positive. When do you see something like that on youtube? That`s Klopp. Big hugs from an TSV 1860 Munich fan :)
Klopp needs to write a book. I'm not much for the "self-help" genre, but he exudes a particular wisdom that is straight forward and transcendental at the same time.
Dumfries Spearhead What?!?! He does not remind me of Peterson. Klopp has wonder and humor. He has an insane amount of humility where Peterson has lost all his for $$$$. Klopp has passion for one thing: football. Peterson traded passion for money. He hardly had much passion to begin with, about as much as a good professor should have. Then he took all his energy to try and monetize his fan base. As soon as Peterson broke into a market he branded himself. Klopp just kept wearing horn rimmed glasses and that’s all he needed. In fact I believe Klopp is far more prolific because he exudes wisdom effortlessly whereas Peterson has spent his life to seem wise only to turn into a fool. Peterson name doesn’t belong anywhere near Klopp’s.
Wow, what an interview. So refreshing not to have the usual inane football chat where interviewer is trying to prise out a quote that is recycled endlessly and, often times, out of context. So pleased that Jürgen chose LFC
For real as a Liverpool from Africa my dream is meet this man, he such a loving, intelligent and free man, even without been told, Liverpool, we are lucky to have you sir, YNWA!
erko78..Excellent attitude mate.Thank you from a Liverpool fan.You are a genuine fan of football.I hope life keeps you fit, well and happy.Oh as Klopp says,a bit of luck also.Take care erko78 YNWA...
Thank you...hope you keep you’re foot on the throat of Real Madrid...and would welcome you to the EPL when you achieve Catalan independence...playing in a league against genuine competition...would project Barca to even greater heights
true. I notice people start to shun anything related to religion in the west...shaming people for revealing their religious side or belief. It's a breath of air he doesn't hide it. I'm not a christian, but I like people who don't shy away from their identity
Jurgen Klopp is one of the greatest human beings ever. I was ecstatic that LFC won the 6th CL trophy, but I was more ecstatic that Klopp won the CL trophy as our manager.
By how many and deep displays of affection written by all kind of different fans around the whole globe, you can imagine how much it hurt us BVB09 fans to see him parting. Like in a marriage where both partners still love each other but it doesn't work out anymore anyhow and neither side knew why. He really is a man and a hero of the people by just being authentic and cheerful. I really hope he comes back some time. All the best to LFC and Jürgen Klopp! Heja BVB!
the problem with dortmund was ,with the success the popularity of dortmund grew really fast and and the prices for good talents grew also and dortmund didn't had the money to hold or get the players klopp needed...With Liverpool he has the club which could afford that, yeah liverpool lost coutinho but had the money to buy other talents which could replace coutinho very well
I love Klopp, and I only watch the world championship final. (I watched a tiny littlebit more back when Zidane was active, because of his teamplay and elegance)
The most amazing thing is: he sounds honest. He's in the top 10 of football entertaining business but stays - at least in my perception- true. I officially touch my front lock and bow. He's that good
I loved how Klopp stated he was a normal and calm guy. She then showed video's of him going crazy after his team scores goals. Ha ha we all love him for it anyway
@@lewisbates5208 LFC have been 2nd best which despite the way football trophies are perceived is not really a sporting failure. When Klopp arrived LFC were in the Europa League and 8th in the league.
Let me just say, I'm from Canada, i've only gotten a little more familiar with premier league over the past several years (cuz it's a little difficult to follow with the availability of the games), but i've been supporting liverpool probably starting the year they finished 2nd under brendan rodgers. I wasn't too involved but i knew after the suarez thing they were facing a bit of climb. Then one game i see that they replaced rodgers with Klopp (who i was not familiar with at the time) and it was just him looking up while the camera was on him, and i saw his smile and I was like, "Wow, there's something special about him.
Klopp has definitely put Germany on the map for all the best reasons. I've always enjoyed my trips to Germany they love to party but have a very strong work ethic. Klopp like many Germans don't take themselves on an personal level to serious but can be very driven. Hes so far from the normal guy, hes a special character who's a very powerful influencer in football.
Guy De Simon disagree as a German, I‘m surrounded by enthusiastic people. Maybe they don‘t show it on the street, but once you get to know people, there are quite a few who share Klopps passion for whatever
I Like Klopp's words ..... "Where money is involved, pressure increases" & "Being a very young father, you have to learn it pretty early how to take care for younger player".... Waooo........Klopp got Philosophical thoughts...
Altamash Khan my favourite Klopp quoting is: „Football is not the most important thing in the world. But for 90 minutes it feels like it.“ That’s brilliant
He is a kind of intelectual. He had a deeper and wider view of things .He is honest and authentic .....a wise lovely man and that makes him a good coach also.
I'm interested to see how Germans feel they need Klopp to represent the nation and how she questioned were people surprised he was German. Can I just say I am not surprised Klopp is German to the contrary I feel he embodies today's Germany in so many ways. To my mind Klopp's generation of German's and indeed my own generation are some of the most free thinking, interesting and emotionally intelligent people I have met. "I have so many more questions than answers" Is a great Klopp quote from this interview which I believe, compared with Brits especially, Klopp and Germans embody brilliantly today. Maybe he can teach us in Britain something.
I think people should come to the region where Kloppo and i come from, because i almost feel like he must have been around when we where schoolkids. i know a lot of people with his way of thinking and the region and generation he grew up helped to be open minded and not the typical stereotype german which is stupid anyway. But our Rhein-Main Region surely is a little different in that aspect and the generation is important too, i am nearly the same age as Klopp and people had different ideas back then and foreigner kids like me where better integrated all lived together and all speaked perfect german from the start. We where all from different places or cultures but all had the same teenager problems more or less, people living together nearby speaking whit each other don´t give room to right wing bullshit propaganda and just the real problems stay. My parents are from Portugal but i was born and raised here in Germany, fun fact my english sounds a bit like his and i am labelled as a german in conversations very fast. I can´t explain why or how but something went really wrong in the last 2 decades, people changed and are not that open anymore or willing to live together without talking shit to each other. What i can assure you is that people from our generation(40-50years) who lived in Rhein-Main Region as kids, are all a bit like him in a way even non germans which would be labelled as germans if they start speaking ;-) edit: I now have seen another video where i learned he isn´t from th Rhein-Main region but grew up in the Black Forest, so maybe it is just the generation which matters. But my idea about this still stands and he surely got some Rhein-Main "flavour" in him, hell i saw him a lot of times in different places on his time in Mainz and i truly had the idea that he was from here.
True. There is a feeling in British psyche of we have done it all before - in the past - and have nothing to prove. Living in the past is becoming our watch-word. Pretty much summed up in Brexit.
@@leod-sigefast He wants to be controlled by a foreign force hell bent on the eradication of European Nationhood, to get to its goal of a Federal Europe, with a malleable population of consumers that will be so 'diverse' (eg divided) that they will never be able to unite against their rulers.
Will always be a fan of Jurgen Klopp and this interview to me is another example of the man. Love the enthusiasm and the respect he shows when speaking to the interviewer. He speaks to her as an long standing friend and enjoying making contact again even if it is part of his work. Pete Sampras' mum once replied that her son had a talent for playing tennis but that didn't make him something special. I loved that response and Jurgen pretty much sees his talent in the same light.
it's pure pleasure to be able to speak with him, not only football but everything in life, he is really a very cool guy. And thank u boss for coming to Liverpool!
From the States, played soccer in teenage years. Afterward, at that time, no opportunities for women. So, I stopped playing, and there was really nothing to watch over here either, and sadly I forgot about soccer/football. However this past year, I discovered Lionel Messi/Barcelona on RU-vid. Absolutely enthralling to watch Messi play the game. From there discovered Liverpool/Salah, et al. But did not know who was this fellow, Jurgen Kropp? Thanks for the video! I feel I have an idea now why his name kept cropping up on my recommended video to watch list. If you have an interest in European/English Football, he is one to know. What a humble, likeable guy. His “I’m the normal one” mug is perfect! I admire his philosophy of focusing on people - their character, and developing their talent. I like that he sees himself as a facilitator and teacher - no wonder he is so successful.
No opportunities in the USA for anyone even now. The law making young professionals go to university and play against people who aren’t top level during the most formative years of their play ruins development (and making it illegal to pay them). In Europe it’s not uncommon to be signed for a major club at 6-12 years old. Obviously it’s very hard to keep up, but they’re given every opportunity to succeed. This is why the non homegrown players on the US men’s team like Pulisic (grew up in Germany) are the stand out players, and why the US has never had a real world class player.
It's fascinating to me that you grew up with football and then it just slipped out of your life. On that side of things, I can't relate because football has been everything to me since I was a teenager, but I'd be really interested to know if you noticed any changes in the game from your time away from it. I also think you're right about the lack of opportunity for women in football but I do think the tide has turned there and the only way is up now.
this man is truly inspiring,, he knows himself well so he can learn about others ,and even more, he has the ability to influence them rather than managing them ,, what a leader!!
This guy is amazing!!!! So refreshing. Loved it when he goes " I know i'm just lucky, i know a lot about football but 500 years ago, i would have done nothing with this knowledge." Bang on! So refreshing to see someone with brains in football. Danke Klopp!
One of the most humble men you could meet. He fully appreciates the people around him from parents, former players, coaching staff, chief executives, owners & fans that have allowed him to grow and have watched him flourish. A true gentleman of the game. Long may he be respected. Jurgen YNWA.
So humble, so sincere, so down to earth! A decent human being who just does his job well and never loses the human touch. Liverpool is so lucky to have him!!!!
He's world's best manager by far....Did wonders wherever he was and doing same with Liverpool.....Actually he's the Proven one didn't need much money and world class players to succeed did everything purely on his managerial talent ❤...#Geggenpressing genius
@@dwkickoff It's not hard for him to win trophies it's just he had an average team to which no one can win trophies with but still he won trophies there too if he had luxury like Guardiola or Zidane for sure he would have won many more trophies then these guyz....its easy to win trophies when you have world class teams and tons of money which klopp never had Still he made Average teams into world class purely on his managerial talent.....that's why I always say only one thing he's the "Proven One " Rest who consider themselves great aren't coz its easy when you have every luxury available and kloppo didn't need luxury to prove himself ❤
@@JoltinJoe Others can do it but except Pep who always had best teams and still failed in Bayern Munich and again in England he's failing again and again in UCL which is the only challenge he had wherever he's been but only winning domestic kids trophy with billions of investment's.....I don't have anything with pep but I laugh when many say he's the best...he's the most overhyped manager ever.....Klopp is world's best by miles ❤
@@AbhishekMishra-ul2bq no one could have said it better. Guardiola has the luxury of everything still he is missing many things. While Klopp change the disadvantage to his advantage where ever he go. He is the asset of any team.
His royal majesty Klopp. ....big respect👊. ....the spirit of conquest from German to Anfield. ......hope one day Arsenal will have such a class of manager 😟😞
he is a philosopher more than a football manager ... like nietzsche like hegel like kant like schopenhauer ... much respect to Herr Klopp ... ''The Normal One'' ...
Now I understand what Jürgen meant by the 'normal one'. he loves his job and everybody has its own talent, and with theirs they will do whatever they love, and it's normal and should be normal. why isn't it be our normal happiness that we've most wanted to have?
As a Tunisian I always had a feeling toward the Germans...humble and straightforward...my experience with them made me like them .....Be a honest natural man and Germans will be with you...in that we have common character with Germans......I searched in history and I found that after the fall of Carthage by the Romans...a 100000 vandals ( German tribes) came to Tunisia and East of Algeria and founded a new state ...that's why in the east of Algeria it is normal to see blonds blue eyed people...and they then stayed there and mixed with the population ..a research I had seen said 7% of Tunisian genes are Vandals 8% latin 25% Carthaginian
Jurgen knows 100% how good he is and he is so self-assured that he prefers overall humility in general. His anthropologist approach towards football makes him the Manager he is today. What a genuine man!! l really admire him.
What a genuine guy! Gotta love Klopp for the person he is first....and then for the passion he has for football...and how he instills his attitude into the youngsters 👊🏼
Thank you MR KLOPP for giving LIVERPOOL CPR and giving back its heartbeat. And I don't think you realise what you've done for our club and city. and we'll be forever in your debt. You've put a smile back on my face and millions of other LIVERPOOL FANS around the world.Especially winning us the CL TROPHY after that amazing come back against BARCELONA at ANFEILD.Which was one of the best days of my life as a LIVERPOOL SUPPORTER .And now you've gone down as a HONORARY SCOUSER AND LIVERPOOL LEGEND..We would never have WON IT WITHOUT YOU SO THANK YOU WITH ALL MY HEART MR NORMAL ONE...YNWA
I'd rather bring back the 'boot room' idea. That mythical phrases often used back in the seventies and eighties by reporters, pundits and fans alike to describe the boss and his assistants and rename it DAS BOOTZIMMER. A structure and a phrase which lasts beyond Klopp and is used in the context of a successful Liverpool team regardless of who is managing it. I think Klopp might appreciate that more than a statue. A statue can't play football....
ODEAN LAWRENCE ‘Ze “normal” one’ :D But I think it’s quite possible that in the future, Shankly will be referenced to as the grandfather of Liverpool ;)
I'm going to rewatch this interview over and over. As a football manager, he may be the normal one. But his views on politics, on the world, on life and his approach to people makes him a special person. This man is my idol.
Jürgen's voice is something you could easily wake up to and then have a joyful day! We are truly blessed to have a person like him managing our club. I hope from what he says he will retire in ten years time and LFC is the club that he leaves. True to his word, he has started to build a team that will be hard to beat without the backing of Arab families or states. His philosophy regarding bringing young players through is a godsend. So hopefully the future is bright for LFC! YNWA Jürgen Klopp. Thank you for a fantastic interview!
I was a Dortmund fan since I was a kid. Then JK came to BVB. When he moved to LFC I became an LFC fan. And I will be a fan of the team that he goes after.
Best manager imo. His ability in developing youth players, team work and professionalism are extraordinary. He is also sensational at player recruitment and man management.
You are the best Klopp keep going and you gonna be legend in time to come.Your understanding about humans and you know how to care all your players. Good and God will bless you as football managers.
With my whole heart I will say this man is my hero not just in Football but as person in all areas of life. I get very emotional and feel blessed when I hear him talk because he gets it, he gets people and has a passion and drive for success that is unparalleled. YNWA ❤️
The moment he signed with Liverpool I saw the success he was going to bring and it happens with every single decision he;s made. Like success by a thousand cuts
I don't support ANY English teams but I respect this man so much I want Liverpool to win the league .... I was gutted last season for him!! A Gentleman of the highest order!!! 🇮🇪✊🏻🇮🇪
