Yes it does because it attaches only to the bottom part of the bridge and not to the top part which is the compensated part.

Yes, I realize that . But the bridge I have on there is a full compensated bridge. It is slightly notched where the pickup would clip on . I was thinking it would get enough contact before the notch . If you look at full pre compensated bridges you will see what I mean. I really appreciate your help.
