Imagine if Pat Sajak was selected by The Weather Channel as a weather specialist, anchoring the hourly weather forecasts!!!

It was actually KNBC, Channel 4, Los Angeles, California that Pat Sajak did the weather on before he hosted Wheel Of Fortune.

Also on ATN7 Sydney, Mike Bailey (R.I.P.) also had to do the weather on a chromakey set.

Meanwhile, Chuck Woolery was hosting "Wheel of Fortune." Pat seems to have kept his hair; whether it's still attached to his head naturally may be another story. Makes you wonder what Vanna was up to at the time. Probably still in high school.

And Paul Moyer was the anchor.

He also covered high elevation, desert, beach, surf, and conditions in the valleys. He mentioned "above normal" temperatures, but it would have been helpful to know what season in 1977 this was.

Before he got hired to spin the Wheel of Fortune, Pat Sajak was doing local forecasts for L.A. Fred Silverman had doubts for Pat at first as Fred thought Pat was "too local" for game show hosting. Nonetheless, Fred gave Pat a chance and he did a good job hosting Wheel.
