Love ya GFM. Nice to hear you again. I implore you to try prolotherapy on your right knee before going replacement. The regenerative medical field is growing fast. It works. I had it on both knees. Give it 6 months before deciding if you want a replacement. PRP is what I had. Could barely walk, now I’m pain free.

Hope you get things all worked out soon. I like your hat, I bought my wife a Model Y Long Range AWD back in June and she loves it. So far we have about 4,000 miles on it and it has cost us $149 dollars charge since we bought it. Hang in there it will get better.

My mom just had knee surgery a few weeks ago but hers wasn't total replacement and she's doing really good so far and will be heading back to work in a couple weeks

I feel your pain brother, got myself two bad knee's, mri confirmed torn meniscus both knee's plus no cartilage left, bone on bone. Stairs and ladders are a no go easily. Been out of work for a year now cause of it, no insurance to get replacements due to lack of work with my union. Guess forced retirement is in my future without benefits. I’m so happy to find your page. I was searching info on trying to understand my fan limit switch. It won’t turn my blower on or keep the pilot turned up 😱. But I also just got a knee replacement 😊
@@grayfurnaceman I definitely do. The dial on my fan switch isn’t moving and the blower won’t come on. Is there a way to fix it or does it have to be replaced?
How is the knee doing now since the repair surgery? Please keep us posted. I don't THINK I will ever need that type of surgery,but it never hurts to hear from someone experienced in that issue.
Hey Grey, so sorry to hear about your troubles. I hope your follow-up surgery is a success! If you do decide to do the other knee, I would shop around for another doctor/hospital. You've got time, find the best orthopedic hospital and travel. Both my and my girlfriend's mother's were killed by hospitals doing heart surgeries they shouldn't have been doing. It wasn't their area of expertise, things got tricky and the patients ended up dead. Start by checking us news and world report for orthopedic hospitals. Hope this gives you a little food for thought.
This type of surgery is not elective. It is the last of the options when you are looking at disability. You will never have the joints you had when young. The best of artificial joints will last 15 to 20 years. My original lasted 76 years. Surgery, or any medical intervention is a choice that has no perfect outcome. It is the best of poor choices. That is growing old. GFM
maybe over working it too soon caused lesions or hardening of tendon sheathes or nothing but natural body reactions? I'm sure no doctor, surgeon, nor anything to do with medical fields, just thinking of the basics . I guess this is where they'd say "break a leg" 😁
