I got the 80's version on DVD. It's a shame that the new version that there was one movie and 12 episodes made before it was canceled. I also got it on DVD
This is going to be the new thing the new age of hero’s , hero cars or fast cars ok both, and people who watched knight rider ( the original ) are going to go WILD for this show
I didn't like the way they added so many characters after the pilot. They didn't seem to add much in terms of relevance or purpose to the plot, having at least 2 were enough. KITT having a backup system operated by a secondary unit ruined it because it made the car feel overpowered, while the original had its problems, but at least it wasnt loaded with too much technology. The movie did well adding enough characters there to make them look and feel important. Story wasn't too bad, and the overall direction felt really encouraging, and I thought they would take that momentum for the TV series, but it didn't work out that way.
@@Timcatgt The 2008 series did improve over time as the cast was trimmed down and more homage was paid to the original. I found myself liking the show more as I re-watched it.
Honestly I would have preferred the KARR episode to be a finale because it was a good story arc. After that the writers didn’t have anything else to write about. If the show stopped at KARR it would have gotten a second season.
Now...in 2023/2024 this show would fit tho a little retooling of scene, plot, Flag materials can be down scaled more in line with the TOS KR....there are a few Actors whom would be a good voice fit for KITT-3K... Sydney is a nice point of, for the show...long boots & all but her action skills could use some WWE help (minus any goffiness )
@@SeViLionCollectibles really? I was told it's not featured the DVD box but I guess I got to find out for myself, and I'm guessing depending on where you live in in a certain part of the world, it's not available on peacock here in the states, I believe it's only on the NBC website
The movie was pretty cool, but damn they really screwed up the series. They should've stuck to the nano tech transformation between normal and attack mode. The transformers style BS was way too cheesy. Also, attack mode looked awesome in the movie and really stupid in the series. Too bad you can't find the movie to watch anywhere.
Sleek in all black in the film . I wished they put more effort on the cgi at the time and took acting/production more seriously. But good to re watch to kill time.
On the topic of "transformers ", I remember when I was a kid, older people found it odd on how Peter Cullen voiced Karr . As if the directors/producers followed the Michael Bay blueprint.
