@@Euronius is it really that impressive? I completely replaced my thinking language to english when i was a pre teen and never thought much of it. For context i'm Brasilian, but i really prefer English over Portuguese.

​@@dumblenutz5561 it really depends on what kind of environment you're in. If a person is able to speak pretty fluent English with not much practice with native speakers irl, it's quite impressive as it takes a lot of work to achieve.

yup, though i think you got the arc vs straight drop thing reversed. With a lot of testing, I've come to the conclusion that it's almost always helpful, but the point at which you need to lunge varies depending on the height of the drop- with the goal being the weapon wipe animation being played as you fall as much as possible. This strategy has gotten me several hits against a BL that I otherwise would never have gotten before they bursted away.

Agreed. With that change to "Hemorrhage" interrupting somebody healing with a medkit, unless they have an add-on to have more charged, now you're likely to cause them to scream and probably not have enough charges to finish the heal anymore, or alternatively, their second heal won't be able to be completed without help if they did bring enough charges as most people bring enough for two heals.

I used to run this build with Gift of Pain, so you have a Double-Scourge Hook Effect from it, which worked out pretty well as well.

Barbecue is also kinda useful as well for some crazy snipes since some survivors like to run off behind a wall or an obstacle to heal.. and unless both survivors are running distortion, then you're pretty likely to catch them with a guard at max distance, although you might need to bring the Call to Arms add-on if you bring BBQ.

@@Zetsuboulurkswithin The odds of them running distortion feels higher everyday, I'd say it's a side-effect of its buff and the frequent hanging use of Lethal Pursuer, Nowhere to Hide, and Darkness Revealed.

@@lastchancefancypants7905 As in the guard’s capability to get in hunts and most importantly get hits in hunts. Without Map to help get you in hunts, CTA for very long max range patrols (meaning that the guard will actually start the hunt faster) or Horsemeat to have longer hunts hopefully resulting in hits, the guards become very weak in the hunt compared to if you brought good add ons.

@@DurkosTheGamer Oh thanks, that makes sense. So what add ons should I prioritize while leveling up bloodline? I always go for longer path yellow add on and double assasin because assasin is the best chaser, but what are your favorites?

Dried Horsemeat, Map of the Realm, and Call to Arms are your best friends. Idk exactly what you meant about the guard speed but the speed at which they begin their hunt is based on how long the trail was. Longer trail = faster hunt startup.

@@Hydrodictyon yeah, no its just a cool idea not really made with meta in mind, but jailer could hinder since he is the JAILer and he doesnt really have any chase. It could be like a 10% hinder that lasts a while so it prevents them from getting to gens quick, but if ur in a certain radius the effect gets reduced (this just popped in my head)

I don’t think Gen perks work for the guards bc I ran popgtw and it doesn’t go off unless you break the Gen yourself.

Surveillance is great on knight because lets you know where to send your guards to. Either it or gearhead work great for that.

@@thomasthetrashengine390 Generator perks do not apply to guards. However, surveillance reveals the aura of any regressing generator in white, so whether you kick it yourself or send a guard to do it, the perk will activate as the generator ultimately regresses

I'm not Otz, but I can spare a minute to help you out! tl;dr: Dead Man's Switch is good with the killer and add-ons, Deadlock works on every killer and build. I think Deadlock fits Ghost Face more. I do think a chase perk could help Ghost Face more tho! I feel like Dead Man's Switch works in the build due to the Knight's add-on. It pairs well with Pain Resonance, however once survivors expect that perk Dead Man's Switch gets little value. On it's own, Dead Man's Switch probably gets value when you scare survivors off generators (as a stealth killer, terror radius probably doesn't scare them away.) I think Deadlock works better for Ghost Face. It's passive slowdown supports those having an unfortunate early game. Pain Resonance doesn't work on blocked generators however, so in that sense you might have to mind Deadlock, since it blocks the most progressed generator. Otherwise Deadlock is a solid perk that works in basically every build. Still, I would suggest something like Play With Your Food, Save the Best for Last or Sloppy Butcher instead of Deadlock. Getting a perk that assists in getting downs helps Ghost Face tremendously. But if you're confident you can get quick downs without chasing perks, then there's nothing wrong with using Deadlock. All up to personal preference!

If you want a simple build in this vein... Ruin + Jolt + Pain Res + Surveillance -> simple stuff! Pop + Jolt + Pain Res + Surveillance -> a bit overkill but hey DMS + Jolt + Pain Res + Surveillance -> even simpler to use Jolt/Ruin + Jolt/PainRes + Fearmonger + Surveillance -> makes it a bit harder on Survivors

I have a hard time getting value out of Pop when coupling it with pain res AND Jolt so it'll be either Ruin, DMS, Deadlock, or Fearmonger which I didn't think of using so good suggestion thx mate ! I'll keep running tests but I don't think Ruin will come out on top cause I don't like hex perks (when not playing Demo), I already tried Ruin to complete the Pain Res/Surge/Surveillance combo though, but I think I'd rather use Fearmonger since its effect last the entire game Have an amazing day @@notOtzdarva , you're the best

@@OneWhoEatsSnakes Thanks for your time but Fearmonger is clearly the best choice for me here, I only ever play chase builds with Deadlock to get an extra 2min of trial before I started playing Ghostface and wanted to go full slow down on this build since Ghostface can instadown people so easily with just 1 brown addon

It also does nothing if they do stealth and rush gens. Which used to be countered by gen kicking and nowhere to hide. So now pain rez does nothing cuz guess what playstyle ALL survivors use right now. The gen kick nerf was a monumental mistake.

@@TheSpectralFX I think the gen kick meta was a bit too much at times, but it definitely was nerfed way too much. They could have capped max gen regression at 250% so Brine + Overcharge didn't stack much. Instead they made both perks suck.

@@TheSpectralFX hopefully not and i doubt they will because they have just buffed it not too long ago from a cooldown to no cooldown and that made it actually usable. if they nerf it again nobody will use it.
