Knight Transportation DQP Process

Hello! This was very helpful. I go next week to knights for training. I’m freaking out. I already have my CDL A but no experience. Do I have to do other extra stuff for training?

Anyways I’m going for the port service. From LA to Phoenix . Do you have any idea on how that works? Pay , time home, etc. my recruiter said he was busy and he never really told me about any of that. Hey brother to get your permit do they send you to dmv after training also after behind the wheel training do they send you to dmv for dmv tests ? Or is it all done on knight property and they supply certificates to send to dmv.

Hey hows it going hope all is good i have orientation on tuesday at the Arizona terminal apply for the port service but was told that its slow right now due to the covid-19 so ill be runnin dry vans from AZ to LA and back till it opens up so i was wondering if i still get the weekends off also is dedicated routes better then ports im just trying to make sure i see my family for more then 2 days if you know what i mean

Man, what is the requirements on heart rate. Mine has always been high. I'm not worried about the rest. Already got my DOT physical out of the way. Would hate to lose an opportunity because of my natural heart rate.

You gotta wonder, a company like Knight Transportation, has 2 orientations a week, what do you think that means? Maybe there's only 1 or 2 people in each class? No that doesn't make sense. I can't figure it out. Why would they need 2 orientations classes a week?

Hello, I have questions about the dedicated account. I am a new driver getting ready to go threw orientation. After training I want to be on a dedicated account. Is that possible for a new driver?

I have my CDL no experience, ill know ill pass my drug test, medical and all that but what happens if we fail any other test like a driving test? Will they send us back home or send us to do training before getting hired to start with a trainer for those 4 weeks?

I live in Vegas if I decide to join knight will I be in the Phoenix area ?
