Those baby knits are scrumptious. I think you hit on genius with baby knits being perfect for scrap busting. Your sweaters are all lovely too. I am inspired to make a Sunday Popover now.
Hi Hayley, I’ve just caught up with this episode - those tiny baby hats are ADORABLE!!! And the baby raglan is gorgeous, I’ve put the pattern in my favourites. I’m currently working on a little beanie using a chart design I’ve made up with sheep in a meadow. Great for using up bits and pieces from my ridiculous stash! 🤣 Love hearing the trams in the background - so Melbourne! 😃🧶
I've always wanted to knit up a sheep themed garment or accessory!! I love hearing about other peoples progress so let me know how it goes! Sounds like a perfect stash buster :))
I just learned how to knit two days ago and I just started my first project, leg warmers. It is so slow going but I think I have spent close to 14 hours practicing so far. Thank you for sharing your projects! I'd love to know your story about knitting, how you got into it and all. Making baby clothes with left over yarn is such a good idea! I hope to be able to work my skill up to that level soon.
That summer tee is gorgeous! Patons Dreamtime is a very soft merino yarn that is available in a few different weights so that might work? Their colour palette isn’t huge but there’s a few dad appropriate shades I think.
I really enjoyed this video! I listened to it while sewing together knit squares for a sweater I’m working on and your video was the perfect thing to watch! Your work is so beautiful! I love the socks you made!💛
Lovely video, showing some beautiful knitting. I’m crocheting a baby blanket in Drops Baby Merino. I think it definitely has a wool feel, I’m not sure it would be suitable for sensitive skin.
Thanks for the heads up with that yarn! I've ordered a couple balls so I can test it out before I commit to it for a project, so we'll see how it goes!! :))
Hi Hayley, love all your makes. I'm just finishing up my basic tee as well. That is awesome that you are coming to Colorado. We could meet up and knit and chat over coffee LOL.
