I loved this episode! The mushrooms were so cute. You could make a garland with the gnome, mushrooms and if you knit mini sweater would be adorable!

I’ve knit socks on DPNs, magic loop, and two on one long magic loop at a time. So I’m passing on advice I got from Ali (Little Drops of Wonderful), which has worked well for me. I knit both socks simultaneously, on either two pairs of DPNs or two magic loops. Cast on knit cuff, do the second sock, start the leg on first, work on second sock, etc., so that both socks are finished together and you have a finished pair. Enjoy every moment with your new baby boy …. They slip by so very fast. Thanks

I had the same mantra when I was waiting for my 3rd baby and I was determined that I didn't want to be induced. "If she wants to stay, that's fine. She obviously needs more time." You got this. Doing life slowly is great practice for after baby is born. :)

the brown single skein would make a lovely Reyna shawl - excellent pattern for a newbie shawl knitter.

You are so adorable!!! And so are those mushrooms! I went right over to ravelry and downloaded the pattern. That DK yarn you got in your swap is GORGEOUS! I would use it to make a Sophie scarf. I always resist bandwagons, but that Sophie scarf bandwagon is one that I'm jumping on! I have a couple of small silk scarves that I wear tied around my neck, but no knitted ones. And I'm almost certain that that pattern calls for DK weight. Anyway, great episode as usual!

Aw thanks Amber! I can’t waittt to see your little mushrooms - I’m sure they’ll turn out so cute! Oh dang, I might have to jump on that bandwagon myself 🙃 it does seem like the perfect mindless knit… which I love, haha

I loved the bandana!! I found the pattern on Hobbii but the instructions were so confusing... Can someone help with how to pick up the 5 sts from the left and 5 from the cast on? I couldn't figure it out...
@carsleehandmade
@carsleehandmade Год назад
Yeah it’s definitely confusing if you’ve never knit a shawl or anything like that before. I’m not sure how to explain it in words, but you pick up on the sides so it makes a triangle! I think other shawls might start with this construction too, so I wonder if there’s a video somewhere? Cause I’m sure my scattered wordy explanation isn’t very helpful unfortunately 🙃
