Join me for some beautiful spring knits and some photo from the Art and Bloom exhibit at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. It's absolutely beautiful on Block Island. The lilacs and irises are in bloom and this sun in shining.
I'm wearing a sweater my mom made and it's a Rosemary Drysdale design called The Breezy V-neck Pullover. The pattern was published in Love of Knitting magazine Spring 2010.
On the mannequin is a Norah Gaughan design called Tracery. The pattern is available on Ravelry and was originally published in a Berroco booklet called Norah Gaughan Collection Vol. 12. I used the called for yarn Berroco Fuji which has been discontinued. I do believe this pattern would be lovely knit up in any number of yarns. Provincial Tweed by Knit Picks and Valley Yarns Hawley would be good substitutes.
I finished the adorable baby sweater. The pattern is called Festival and it's by Petite Knits. I used Walmart Mainstays 100% cotton yarn. I go into more detail in my previous episode 20.
On the needles is the Rosemary Drysdale Eyelet Top. The pattern is available on Ravelry and was originally published in Vogue Knitting magazine Spring/Summer 2019. I'm using Valley Yarn Leverett. 70% Pima Cotton and 30% Linen. It's knit in two pieces, joined at the shoulders and then stitches are picked up to work a little ribbed cuff on the cap sleeve. Fun and Easy.

O Round Purse Handles, (1) pair (20.5cm diameter) a Ribbon, 66 ins long, 1.5 ins wide (168cm long, 4cm wide)
Measurement: Approx 16 ins [40.5cm] wide × 13 ins [33 cm| tall, excluding handles
Tension: 1.3 sts and 17 rows = 4 ins [10cml with larger needles and 2 strands of
yarn in stocking st.
Stitch Glossary:
C5B = Slip next 2 sts onto a cable needle and leave at back of work. K3, then K2
from cable needle. C5F = Slip next 3 sts onto a cable needle and leave at front of
work. K2, then K3 from cable needle. T3B - Slip next I st onto a cable needle and
leave at back of work. K2, then PI from cable needle. T3F = Slip next 2 sis onto a
cable needle and leave at front of work. PI, then K2 from cable needle. T5B = Slip
next 3 sts onto a cable needle and leave at back of work. K2. then PI, K2 from
cable needle. T5F = Slip next 2 sts onto a cable needle and leave at front of work.

Bag:
With smaller needles and 1 strand of yarn, cast on 79 sts. Beg with a knit row, work 14 rows in stocking st.
With larger needles and 2 strands of yarn, proceed as follows: Ist row: (RS). Work row: *Work 2nd row of Panel Pat A.

3rd row: *Work 3rd row of Panel Pat A. **K3. C5B. Rep from * once, then from *
to **
from * to *
once. 4th row: *Work 4th row of Panel Pat A. **8. Rep from * once, then
Panei Pat and Cable is now in position. Cont in pat, keeping cont of Panel Pat and Cable, until 12 rows of Panel Pat have been worked 6 times. With smaller needles and 1 strand of yarn, work 14 rows in stocking st. Cast off.
Finishing:
Mark position on each side edge 4 ins [10cm] up from cast on edge and 4 ins [10cm] down from cast off edge. Fold Bag in half, matching markers. Sew side seams
and C5F twists at top of back of Bag in two places. Thread left end of ribbon through left C5B and C5F twists and right C5B twist at top of front of Bag. Thread right end of ribbon through right C5B twist only at top of front of Bag. Tie both ends in a bow.
