I feel like he's such an underrated drummer. His parts aren't super complex but that's not a bad thing. His rhythm is next level stuff though in my opinion. His timing is excellent as well, especially with KL's breakdowns, how they halftime the previous riff from the buildup or something similar. Slow timing isn't always easy when it comes to drums honestly, I could just be bad though. Great video, looking forward to more drum cams my man.

It's just constant creativity. He can be the only thing in the song that changes if he wants to be and the part sounds completely different because of it

Exactly that riff at like the 2 minute mark in laugh tracks gives me chills every time. It’s the same riff but he switches it up and makes me air drum every time. It’s simple but effective.

Sounds like a Sabian powerbell ride. Great ride cymbals. Sabian are great cymbals in general.

@@Pur3ScarsVII the top of the ride that is shaped like a bell.. it's called the bell. Most cymbals have them. It's the more rounded part near the centre.

The part that starts at 0:50 is always one of my favs. I just love how he switches to the china in the middle and then leading into the next breakdown. That little simple china switch makes it so much heavier.

Breathing Debris yeah even tho it's a little thing, it just makes it so much heavier lol. I can't get enough of that part. He always has little subtleties like that which I love, there's tons of parts on Laugh Tracks with little parts like that that make it so much better

I really wish I could do your live sound. The over compression is causing weird phasing with your cymbals and squashing the crap out of them, among other things. You are an awesome drummer. I can hear these things because of years of ear training so I can’t listen to music without hearing the inconsistencies. Cheers from Tennessee.

Any idea where that came from? First time I heard it was when he passed through a Silent Planet interview and Garrett called him that. I thought it was his actual last name or something for the longest lol
