@@gypsy547 MMA fighters and soldiers both step in on “The arena”, as gladiators would back in the day. Of course the difference between both of them is that a fighter is fighting to win the fight, putting his safety on the line. A soldier is fighting to kill and not be killed, pulling his life and the integrity of his own soul on the line. Regardless of politics or situational conditions that led one to be a soldier, any man who steps in on The Arena is worthy of respect.
Billy Dunnigan... I'm so sorry for all you went through but I'm so proud that we have men like you in America. The guy in my pic with me is my Brother and he as well as my husband were Vietnam Veterans. Those were the hardest years of my life, until they came home at last ... I can't imagine how heavy it must've been for you. God Bless you and keep you. Sending gratitude and light from St. Charles Missouri. 💫
@@gypsy547 i see where you’re coming from, however the guy above don’t sought after pity, he simply stated a experience, maybe you want to read ir again
I just remember my son who passed away in 2008 telling me you gotta listen to this man named Johnny Cash,He made a cover of Hurt and a Bob Dylan song. I just smiled and giggled at him and took out my Folsom prison album, he was hooked!
My mother's maiden name was Thomas, and she had a brother named Johnny Thomas. He was a lifer in the U.S. Navy, fought with our Soldiers against our enemies, in WW2, Korea, and Vietnam. He was killed in action in 1964. Ghost of Johnny Cash • "Knocking on Heaven's Door". • My mother liked Johnny Cash alot and listened to his Columbia Records lps recorded "Live at Folsom Prison", and "Live at San Quentin". • I was incarcerated at the old Steuben County Jail in '81 and became 'born again" then. I've been saved and sober for 39 years, with 2 times the national averages of all A.A. of America/Canada combined, verifiably for 30 years in a row • for these and numerous other miraculous reasons.
You couldn't be more right. Many from this generation would say he wears black because he looks good in it. And, not think again about the Man in Black.
Johnnys' soulful, baritone voice with just a touch of reverb gives me chills and goose bumps, every time. Edit: He could've sung the names, numbers and addresses out of the phone book and made it sound great.
@@darrylgunslingerchestnut9395 Johnny Cash was known for his incredibly rich baritone voice, and had great control of his lower register, including bass. Chestnut-case.
How wonderful to stumble over a treasure like this.. The quality of the recording is amazing and it's like I'm playing the guitar and Johnny's sitting here singing. I can feel the strings vibrate!
Way back on the late 60s, early 70s, my grandpa listened to Johnny Cash & I thought it was the coolest music I'd ever heard. But at 8 years old, what did I know. I'm 60 now and I know that Johnny Cash may not have created the earth. But he sure as hell walked thru it like he did.
I'm 65.Watch where Johnny met Billy Graham& bothhe&June helped others.Johnny met Jesus PERSONALLY! I DID TOOO! Both have peace NOW! They pray for us each day! Pray for others!
Johnny was one in a million. There will never be another like him in this life time. He was unique in all aspects of his life and he always did things his way. When I heard him cover Hurt by Nine Inch Nails, it made me love him and appreciate him even more. May he rest in peace.
As a child I listened to Dylan sing this song and shook me with reverence. Now one of my all time favourites has the timbre of Cash, I am a believer .......
The next best thing. Wish it was him though. Rick Rubin must be kicking himself for not recording it with the great man . Would've been a match made in heaven.
My grandma passed away, at her funeral my grandfather was devastated saying his last good bye. I dedicated this beautiful song to my grandfather. Rip grandma we will forever love you till we meet again.
ThAts the way youre supposed to go. Build a family. Not like me. Watched my wife die last year and im all alone with cancer at the ripe old age of 38. I hate life so much ive decided to just let the cancer do what ever. Fuck life.
I love it.Loved Cash since I was 4, 70 now and after all I have heard in life , in all the years after he passed away never thought I would hear a song that was really fitting for him But I believe this was the one he would have chosen .It fits him his style and for those of us who were blessed to know him even just a little ,we can tell you his love for his Mother was above all others except for GOD and June.Good pick .many thumbs up sir.
Listening to this for at least the 1000th time without any commercial. Through my experience that's very rare. As unusual as that is, that much I like this song.
Oh no one has Johnny Cash's voice, it's so one of a kind. I'll never stop listening to his CDs for ever. Tube another great way to see him as well. Love this song he Johnny sang it amazingly!! ❤️
Yep. Clark, Campbell, Lee-Lewis, Reid etc were amazing artists. Cash is on another level tho, immortal and still speaking to the free thinkers of today, and will be forever more. RIP Johnny Cash. x
I'm at a loss for words. Sooooo impressed with this man's voice. The spirit of Johnny Cash the walking contradiction partly truth and partly fiction is in this man's voice.
Goosebumps...! Thanks for sharing. First time hearing this. Instead of dwelling on why I haven’t heard this before, I am simply thankful. What a treat. Amazing! RIP Johnny MIB

My little old Sicilian Mamma loved opera and Johnnie Cash. We went to see the Highwaymen. She was thrilled. I will never forget how happy it made her. Mamma and John are enjoying each others company.in Heaven. Bless you.
This song reminds me of my recent deceased son, Cliffton Saddleback, pics. Of Brad Pitt also a reminder of my son, my favorite Actor, is Brad Pitt, my son reminds me of him, because, how active my son was of Life! He wanted to do everything!
