✅FRONT SQUATS: Whilst all compounds work on your core strength the front squat is amazing for not only your legs (more quad focused) but also don’t be surprised if you feel your core burning up too! (Anterior Chain)
✅BACK SQUATS: a compound movement that uses multiple muscles and joints to perform. I would say back squats are also more “everybody” friendly as it’s not as technical as a front squat.
✅SUMO & TEMPO SQUAT: The 1,2,3,0 Tempo (counting from 1-3 as you go down then exploding up) is amazing for workout intensity. This will also mean your load won’t be as heavy as let’s say a back squat as its more of a Time under Tension execution. I decided to use a sumo stance here but you could also do standard or narrow.
All variants work multiple joint and muscles and its truly a matter of each one “targeting” an area slightly more than the other!
