@@AnalogKitchen Thanks Lucien for asking. I'm well but I have to deal with some issues, but yeah, thats life. The good thing is that I just woke up from my wintersleep according making music. I have plans and goals and a priority will be to get in touch with a label to bring out some stuff. I'm aware that I'm still in a learning curve but that brings also joy, to get better and better. So will be continued. Have a great day!!!

7:56 is good advice, yet mostly for music one intends to release and monetize. You are definitely correct though, that "perfecting" a genre before moving on to a different style (or combining styles) is probably a good idea for most musicians. When someone is just making music for themselves, and they are in the laboratory and not the kitchen...yeah dude: mess around with various genres for fun. Go find knowledge that explains the nuances of said forms. Etc. The end result may not be great, yet the process of knowledge acquisition, experimentation and the actual joy of music creation is perhaps worthwhile in ways that are not easily quantified tangibly.

That's true. I always aim at people who's ambition it might be to get going live but you have a point. That's not everyone!

@@AnalogKitchen Sound Tribe Sector 9 has always been a favorite band from my past. Although they are more like funky psychedelic jamband. Klangphonics are kinda awesome, yet they are more like full melodic techno and don't seem to have that Rotterdam/NL(or even crazy Berlin or Brussels) style that is a bit heavier. I think you may be on to something with your idea.

Limitations breed creativity. I have heard people play the bucket drums (as in literal buckets and found objects), better than some people can play a 2 thousand dollar drum set. I have heard someone play a homemade guitar made out of a steel or tin can and a piece of driftwood...better than some have played a 2000 dollar fender stratocaster. Beatboxing? Amazing. I could continue, yet I'm sure anyone who has spent time on the internets or played music long enough has many examples of the same idea.

My videos are like a good book, they get better the longer you stick with them! Besides, you could alway watch chapters that interest you or just parts of any vid. Or none at all? You know you have a choice, right?
