The once in a decade event took place on Sunday 10th September 2023, the last race being 2010 and had been delayed due to the Covid epidemic. There were over 100 entrants including one from New Zealand, the three hour endurance race was made even more strenuous due the 27 degree humid weather, falling on the back of the hottest September heatwave on record. The end of the video shows the medal ceremony for the winners.
