For your stock motor, there are quite a lot of options that will run it at full power. The X-9000 is capable of running it for sure and also much more powerful motors. It's also one of the best designed controllers out there for the Surron and Talaria right now.
@@tchaiquentin EBMX will have a motor out very soon. It's more powerful than the FSPEC motor and yet still fits in a Surron. There is another option coming soon that I can't talk about in detail or where it is coming from, but I can say I'm involved in the details and designs and it's going to be very good and will fit a Surron. You've got a couple of motor options that are not KO coming very soon that will be more powerful than the FSPEC. I know that KO is also working on a new motor...no information on that!
I don't want to humiliate KO. I want to expose the garbage they build so they are FORCED to make good hardware! I know they can do it and they stick to the same shitty designs again and again!!!
common man, i know KO talk shit but no need to do the same. No one but no one runs mosfets at their max amps - this is a theoretical value assuming a infinite heat sink. 50% of that is not uncommon. nless im wrong and the 480odd you quoted isn't the 'datasheet' max? the lack of thermal paste for the 'mid' stage though is laughable (to just take 1 example)... not to mention the weakest phase has the worst thermal path due to all the holes cut in the ally... funny that even in his response to this vid, he is still calling it a heatsink. The entire industry is using the term wrong but him :D .
I thought I was pretty clear about that being the maximum for the mosfet. With good cooling so the mosfets don't get warm, exceeding 50% is not a problem. Heat is the biggest killer. But yes, I agree, running them at 100% of their current rating is not possible. The datasheet says 479 amps max.
Jeez people - let the product do the talking - this is so (internet) tiresome - If KO sucks well then people will know. If EBMX sucks people will know. These videos are ridiculous and the sad.
