Rion-san, I love your videos! Just wondering about one thing. In your video, if I have heard correctly you said something like "aizamasu..." at the restaurant. Is this a short form of arigatou gozaimasu? If so I like it, much easier to say. :-)

I'm so glad you got to have a good meal in a nice place. It's a big difference from fast food and convenience store food. That price, including the room, the private onsen, that amazing dinner and breakfast the next day is an excellent value. I can't wait to see what you eat for breakfast. Amazing Rion! Simply amazing! Reminded me of the time on my last trip to japan and the ryokan I stayed at. I had my best time there and the onsen was amazing too! I didnt have kobe beef sukiyaki though. That I would love to try in kobe! Cant wait for the next one! Gao!!!!!!

Now, Japan is closed for all countries, but the government really wants to make the olympic games happen in Japan I think🤔, so I believe the travel ban will be lifted around that time when the temperature gets warmer 😉 (of course, it will happen if the vaccine works well and the situation gets better than now though)😅
Im hearing u saying a few times to the lady serving ur food "arisaimasu" is it a local slang or short for saying arigatou gosaimasu? Or am i getting it wrong?
Yes, it's just a super fast way to say "Arigato Goziamasu", definitely not in the formal occasion, but I usually say it cause it's too long words,, lazy me😂LOL
Haha i see! Thats that same for our country too! We cut short our words to get the message across too haha. It's more efficient that way🤣 When i was in Japan, i told the waiter arigatou gosaimasu and i heard him replied gosaimasu only and have been wondering till today. 😅 Thanks for letting me know. ❤
Great video Rion. Although the ryokan was a bit dated and the onsen looked quite small, the food looked great. It makes me want to go to a ryokan next time I visit Japan.

Well if they are eating outside of Japan (in the US) it isn't safe to eat raw egg so I can understand why they don't eat it as in Japan. But cooking the egg in the sukiyaki - weird.
Well it looked as though the private onsen was not warm enough and your hair was still wet for a long time, then the room was cold, that's so bad, you were putting on a happy face for us, haha but anyway the arrival of the heater made everything better and you would have had a good sleep.
